Since when can you demonstrate willingness in a press interview?

I could write a whole article on your greed in place of a winning attitude and your fragile confidence. Nothing more than a receiving Albert Haynesworth.. lol.

I think you're quoting someone else. I've noted in the past that JJ seems to run a lot of sideline routes in the past, but I don't think I've mentioned it in this thread.

Jones should have responded something along the lines of "one week this year, I will have 10 catches, 150 yards, and 2 TDs. The very next week, I may not have a single ball thrown towards me. We like to spread the ball around here in Green Bay."

The reporters set him up with a trap. It's not easy to think on your feet when you are asked a "so, when was the last time you beat your wife?" question. If you ever studied journalism or debate, you'll know what I'm referring to. It's a question that there is no right answer and any way you answer it, you're going to look bad.

Good journalists don't do that crap. But then again, good journalists nowadays is almost an oxymoron.

I guess some fans just can't handle having four or five really good wide receivers on their team.

Alrighty Nerd.. stick yourself in his shoes and answer the question posed...

What is reaction to only getting one ball thrown your way and a handful of meaningful snaps?

Just be careful.. because I will browbeat your ass with the answer.. [grin1]

They did a lot more talking to fans than they did the media.

I didn't hear Jones say he wouldn't go over the middle once the whole night.

1: Somebody asked me what I would do if I was JJ. I told them what I would do. One of those things is to show more willingness to go over the middle. Then pack93z insinuated that I was suggesting that JJ show this willingness in a press interview. This is a good example of the common non-sequiturs which are used by many pissy little shebitches on this forum when they cannot successfully win an argument on it's merits. In fact I was ripping JJ for taking his shitstained laundry to the press. Why would I suggest he do that even more?
2: Here you are suggesting that Pack93z is suggesting that I cannot know that JJ is unwilling to go over the middle from an interview. He is suggesting no such thing, as I demonstrated in the above paragraph.
3: What I am talking about is what, iirc, you asked me to state. If I was JJ, what would I do? I told you what I would do. I would cash my paychecks. By which I also mean, stfu and be thankful for the new contract I just chose freely to sign a few weeks ago. In addition to this, I would work on my over the shoulder catches. I suggested this, because it seems to have been a problem with JJ last season. Being that he had a problem dropping these types of catches, many of which would have been game clinching TDs, this might be one reason that he would see decreased playing time.
Finally, I also suggested that JJ show more willingness to go over the middle. Do I know for a fact that he is a chickenshit to go over the middle? I have no idea. But it does seem that he gets sent on a disproportionate number of sideline routes. Maybe he's just a specialist at that, although he doesn't seem to have the same knack at getting his feet in bounds than say a James Lofton or a Jerry Rice. But then, who does? The MAIN reason I suggested that he demonstrate willingness to go over the middle, is because it's something he could do to get reps. What I would do is make smack talk to the inside LBs. And I would maybe talk a little smack to DD. I would make suggestive banter during practice, not to the extent of TO or to the extent that I would ruin team chemistry, but to the extent that the coaches would deliberately send me over the middle to get hammered by Dez Bishop. Then I would pop right up smiling like a jackass and challenge them some more. This is just something I would do to demonstrate that I am eager for some action, and perhaps am willing to go out there and do shit work even if I have to, just to get it.
4: Is that clear enough for you? I tried to type slowly so you could follow along. Now, wtf are YOU talking about? If I may be so bold as to inquire.
