Packers bring back 8 camp players for Practice Squad

WR Diondre Borel, T/G Ray Dominguez, C Sampson Genus, WR Tori Gurley, QB Graham Harrell, CB Brandian Ross, RB Brandon Saine and WR Chastin West.

The guys a lot of us hoped would clear waivers apparently did.

That is fan-freaking-tastic.

Pretty much all the guys at the bottom end of 60, really good to see Gurley, West, Harrell, Saine, and a couple Olineman on the PS

Love that group for a practice squad... though I notice no C/OG McDonald, CB Gordy or DL back-up. I still think a 6th WR might of been in the top 53 best guys.

So happy to see Brandon Saine make it, with only 4 rb's total on the 53 man roster, he probably will get his chance at some point this year.

With Borel,West,Gurley, and Shaky Smith(on IR), Matt Flynn is going to have some fun in practice throwing to these guys against our #1 D. Just a lot of raw talent being stockpiled in Green Bay.

Probably all the guys I was most hoping would make the PS except Elmore. I liked his productivity in college.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

Surprised they didn't bring back McDonald or Gordy. Nick must have really disappointed at center this year for them to bring Genus back before him.

A few of our camp guys might have been signed by other teams or practice squads. I don't believe all the post-waive announcements have been made yet. The Packers probably had to make it as early as they did due to playing on TNF in the opener so they could get the ball rolling on practice and preparation.

Don't be happy that any of them cleared. All it takes is a team to say they'll throw them on their 53 for them to be gone.

Great news, especially on Harrell. I also like Ray Dominguez as a long-term prospect. I hope that he's able to stick around for a year. He could see a big jump from year one to year two.
