Ted.

You are going to lose Matt. He will be gone, and you will get nothing for him. That is one hell of an investment to just throw away, with nothing in return.

Aaron is NOT going down, he is an iron-man, and has proved it. Graham can step in for any minor tweaks that Aaron may get.

Ted... Call Mr. Davis.

Offer Matt for Taiwan Jones.

The Raiders have McFadden and Bush.. Taiwan is do-able and this kid will rock your world.

It is a win-win for The Packers and The Raiders.

Ted, you have my cell. Call me if you have any other questions.

It's hard to really determine Flinn's value in a trade. He is great at the throwing short and intermediate routes. Although he now has the arm strength to throw deep passes, from what I have seen, he lacks the accuracy needed to complete deeper throws on a consistent basis. I do think Ted will trade him, but I don't see him starting for any team (except Seattle)on week 1.

I like Taiwan Jones a lot. He has great speed and is a very raw player. I think this would be a great addition to the run game, but because they are already stacked at RB I don't see it happening. Nance will probably be gone by the beginning of the season and although he is getting old, they haven't seemed to lose interest in Grant yet.

I think even at this point... Matt is better than Campbell, Boller, or Edwards.

I have little faith in Grant, not sure why? It is a gut feeling I have that he has reached his personal financial goals in life and has nothing more to improve on in his mind.

I think Jones would excell in Green Bay. Slippery, quicker than lightning, and with the secondary spread out as much as they will be with a 5 reciever set.. "Oh My When He Gets In The Open Field." This kid will not be a flash in the pan. He is do-able for Ted and the Packers right now.

It is a great trade. For both teams.

To me Taiwan Jones is kind of a Barry Sanders type guy. Tiny, can accelerate, make people miss. Dunno if he'd work so well on the Frozen Tundra. Anyway we already have our own version of that in Brandon Saine. Also not sure Flynn's ready to be a vertical passer at this point. Wouldn't mind getting a look at Taiwan Jones though. I wanted Ted Thompson to draft him.

It seems like Flynn would be an obvious upgrade in a couple cities: Seattle, DC, Miami. Possibly Oakland. I just don't think any team will give a high draft pick for Flynn based on two main points: lack of elite arm strength and loss of time in training camp.

Flynn got to where he is today by being meticulously groomed by McCarthy and working hard. I don't think there is enough time for another coach to get him up to speed before the regular season starts.

The trade of course would be contingent upon Matt signing a new contract with his new team.

I think Ted Thompson and the Packers will offer Flynn a contract extension before the season is up and keep Matt in GB for a few more years.
