My first half notes..

Lang Beat by Dockett first series.. poor footwork, slid high lost the leverage.. albeit against a Pro Bowl Player.. Lang's only real gaff at Guard in the first half.

Still concerned with the edge with Walden.. sucked in to far and pinned in.. allowed run off his side.

CJ Wilson.. nice run stuff

Dom running through blitz packages.. Williams, Woodson, Hawk all firing..

Defensive and offensive lines as a whole looked much better this week vs last week.

BS Pass Interference call on Williams.. at most a hand in to feel the receiver..

Sherrod nice run block.. 1st snap second series.. blew defender on the other side.. only to watch Clifton allow his defender..

Grant read the block/hole incorrectly on draw play.. room to the left and he pulled right.. left 3 to 5 yards on the field.

Force to Finley.. good protection but Aaron locked on Finley.. incomplete.

3rd & Short.. protection okay.. Rodgers held the ball to long / coverage sack

Burnett made a nice play on pass down sideline.. receiver had worked open.. tad late and too much air on throw.

Wynn blew up run play.. Raji as well.. D Line played well in total.. Wynn had a nice half.

Hawk read the screen (penalty brought it back) effectively blocked.. nice play design.

Lang nice run block down field 3rd Drive 1st run.. slip at the line.. got the second level well.

What a freak Finley is.. speed / size ratio.. just runs away from nickel back

Nice Blitz read by Lang and Grant on Jennings TD

Nice pursuit by DJ Williams

Howard Green is a beast inside vs run and got some decent pressure on a couple of passes.

Peprah nice range on back to back plays.. both sides.

Lang beat at tackle on straight run.. poor first step and footwork in total.. never squared up the defender and moved his feet.

Nice footwork and run by Green on screen pass

Lead Hammer block from Quinn on Green TD.. drilled backer.. Green nice leverage run

Driver held on after a big stick

Alex Green has been fun to watch.

Is it it just me or did McDonald look really high in his stance? It seemed to me he wasn't getting much bend in his knees while blocking.

Harrell looks immeasurably improved over last preseason, which I find really exciting, since I have been in his camp since day 1. I was hoping the Packers would draft him and was thrilled when they brought him in for a look last year.

After tonight I think the Packers should drop the idea of moving Sherrod inside and allow him to stay outside and work on his tackle footwork. IMO.. it is messing with his footwork moving back and forth inside.. he needed pass protection work in the first place.. let him settle in outside and get it down.

Lang played a better game inside and IMO.. needs all the reps inside to get ready to go for the season.

IMO.. The offensive line looks like this to me at this point.

Tackle

Clifton
Bulaga
Sherrod
Newhouse (Played a nice game overall.. nice bounce back)
Dominguez (too talented IMO not to keep him)

Inside is the concern right now... I think we could drop one of the above inside if need be.

Guard
Lang
Sitton

Center
Wells
EDS as a G/C combo?

McDonald IMO has been disappointing so far..

Genus.. love his guys build for inside play.. short compact and stout.. could he make a run at a roster spot.

Other thoughts..

Wynn made the club tonight.. very active and solid game overall.

West made a club tonight.. not sure if it is the Packers, but the guy made a club tonight.

Gurly and West are ahead of the rest as receivers.. Kerry Taylor (John Taylor's nephew) looked the part in returns.. Cobb banged his knee/thigh.. end of his night.

Donaldson didn't show alot.. but man did he blow up a guard tonight on the backside of a play.. damn.

Elmore.. disappointed with him so far.. lost in coverage and little to nothing in pass rush.

Harrell ran the club well enough that the Packers should at the least be listening if clubs call.. need more of a look but I think he could float the club if needed.. seems to have a little more on his throws than Flynn.. but Flynn looked good overall as well. Impresses with all three QB's.. even with some protection issues.

dfosterf (10m) : *Friday*
dfosterf (13m) : 100 million would be 539 million as of Fridsy
