This season is by far not over. But I think we can afford one more loss. (Well I guess 8-8 could win you the division, never know, this is one of the worst divisions in football).

Carolina (W)
Houston (W)
@ Jacksonville (L)
@ Chicago (W)
Detroit (W)

Carolina is a tough game but at least we're at home. That is obviously a must win at this point. Assuming we win that, Houston is a very winnable game at home.

Jacksonville is probably a loss on the road. Obviously Chicago is a must win and then Detroit to make them 0-16.

9-7 is still doable.

If we don't make the playoffs, I'm going to be p'd off. I don't get the comparisons between this team and the 05 team. We're coming off a season we were 13-3 with the same team in a division that is one of or if not the worst in all of football. We've lost so many close games, its going to really annoying to miss the playoffs.

And if we miss the playoffs it will be even more annoying because we will probably finish 8-8 with a mid range 1st round pick. If your going to miss the playoffs, do it in style like 1-15, lol.

Overall, we're alive and kicking, it was a beatdown yesterday on every level but its not over.

I don't see Green Bay beating Carolina on Sunday. Very good team.

Houston might be a win, it's at home and Rosenfels or Schaub are both pretty bad.

Jacksonville I would think should be a win, given that they are pretty bad at passing and Green Bay seems to do well against those types of teams.

Probably a loss to Chicago - they'll be playing to win the division.

Finally, a win against Detroit to end the season

Final record prediction - 8-8 & no playoffs. Ugh.

if you can beat carolina then 9-7 is doable but seeing as you're 0-3 against the NFC south already and the panthers are maybe the best in the division i think it will be hard to beat them .......but not impossible the one thing in your favor is they're not as good on the road as they're at home

the panthers are coming off a terrible road defeat as well. They wont be easy dude. If we don't figure out how to stop the run and quick... it could get messy.

that said they havent been very explosive this year and if we can contain the run and get any thing that even maybe tricks people into believing it might be a pass rush... we can win.

not saying you wont or cant win , but why do you like this match up , they get more pressure on the QB than the saints steve smith is better than any saints receiver , and their run game needs no introduction , and their defense is alot better than the saints , its a horrible match up for you

The key to that Panthers game is stopping the run. You stop Stewart and Williams, you than force Delhomme to throw. Delhomme had 4 INT's against the Oakland Raiders and didn't look good against the Lions. So basically he had 2 bad games against 2 of the worst teams in football. I believe that if the run can get shut down(which is obviously something this team has struggled doing), you can force a mediocre Delhomme to throw and get some INT's.

Its bears vs vikings next.
Vikings- 6-5
Bears 6-5
Packers 5-6

Now lets say the vikings win(could also be the bears) And we win
Vikings 7-5
Bears 6-6
Packers 6-6

Then if Minn loses and Bears and packers win, we are tied again with us all at 7-6.

I don't know about this game.

We are way too inconsistant to be predicting a win here against arguably one of the top 5 teams in the NFL.

Hopefully we will get back to our great pass stopping D, for there is no chance we will be able to stop Stewart or Williams.
