I think this is a much more complicated and complex question as it regards the Packers than for other teams. We are so deep at so many positions. Not many "surprise" cuts for a team as deep as ours. I'll say this; I will be surprised if we aren't one of the the top 5 teams in rookie and second year player cuts. Gonna be tough for rookies, both draftees and UDFAs, to stick with this team. It's a different story for the Panthers.

I really want to say Chad Clifton, but reasonability factors in.

So I'm going to say Brad Jones.

After being facetiously picking AR, I will say Ryan Pickett would be a huge surprise. But if all the young bucks really shine and Ryan, at 31, loses some of his abilities he would be on the outside looking in.

I believe I said Andrew Quarless may not make the team months back. However, there seems to be a portion of the fan base that compares him to Jermichael Finley. It would be probably come as a shocker from their perspective.

Grant isn’t going anywhere IMO regardless of what Brandon Saine does.

However, I do agree with the T.J. Lang assessment. He needs to earn a roster spot this year in my view. He can no longer rely on 09 and his former fourth round status.

I don’t know if it constitutes a surprise or not, but Brad Jones will not make the roster if he can’t get it done on special teams. Robert Francois has a leg up on him as the backup ILB. Erik Waden is clearly the leading candidate at OLB currently.

Realistically, though, I don't see any big names getting let go.

I'd be quite surprised if Rodgers got cut.
