Because that is not the first thing I think of when some one mentions flaming poo.

I think of Favre.

Jamie Dukes
Skip Bayless
Colin Cowherd

They all claimed Rodgers was not elite before he won a playoff game. But I ask now, did Rodgers suddenly change during the Eagles game? Because to me, he looked like the same guy who tore shit up in the regular season. Did he change during the Super Bowl, into something he hadn't been? No. It doesn't make that big of a difference if you have won a playoff game, or a Super Bowl really. A QB should be judged by how well he plays, not because of what accolades he has accomplished with his team.

Rodgers appeared on the Colin Cowherd show after Super Bowl XLV and told the host:

“Maybe even people like yourself can be fans of me now.”

Cowherd then replied that he has always been a fan of Rodgers, but that he didn't belong in the VIP QB club, one that includes the likes of Tom Brady. He said he was "framed as anti-Aaron."

Cowhered then asked Rodgers what it's like to now be in the VIP Club.

Rodgers then says: '"Have you mentioned it yet? … Good. I really wanted to hear that from you … now I hope I can live up to your standards of being an elite quarterback.”

Cowherd then noted the sarcasm in Rodgers' voice.

Good find Macbob.

yeah, what a douche. Saying he's better than Eli Manning is insulting. That's like telling a girl that she's prettier than horsie-face (forgot the chick's name in Sex in the City). That's not a compliment.

Aaron Rodgers no longer has to demonstrate he's one of game's best

Nice. They're on my list for receiving flaming poo.

(I don't know if you have that custom in Finland. It's when you leave a paper bag with doggie doo in it and light it on fire, then ring the doorbell and run).

Also, I lol'd so hard when I heard that interview way back when, macbob. Thanks for digging it up again.

I like that Aaron plays with a gigantic chip on his shoulder created by the media. It makes him more competitive. In fact, I'd rather the media keeps doing it with all our players, it just keeps them hungry.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
