Considering that the rookie QB's haven't had much if any training, it might a wise investment for a team. I don't know if a team would want to give up say a 2nd or 3rd for a guy to play while their rookie sits behind him though. I guess that doesn't make much sense.

The problem I'd have with that is in the final 2 minutes he didn't manage the clock very well, and clearly for what ever reason it took longer for the plays to be called him and he just waited like a college QB... not ready to quite more on to the next play. Also he would need the right system as he didn't have the accuracy on most of the longer passes (though he did have one good one to Jones which he caught and scored.) But they might be able to sign another QB like him or with more NFL playing time and not have to give up the draft pick.
FAs that could also be game managers and most of them with more NFL playing time.
Matt Hasselbeck (SEA)
Marc Bulger (BAL)
Drew Stanton (DET)
Trent Edwards (JAC)
Matt Moore (CAR)
Tarvaris Jackson (MIN)
Billy Volek (SD)
Troy Smith (SF)
Rex Grossman (WAS)
Caleb Hanie (CHI) (RFA but did pretty well against the Packers defense)
And on top of that the Packers would have to probably sign one of these guys to back-up Rodgers. Moore did a pretty good job as a game manager until last year when the whole team fell apart. Hanie looked like he had some potential... but he's an RFA... wouldn't want to give the Bears a draft pick unless it was super low and they were pretty sure Hanie could become a good back-up or more.
