My guess is Crosby, Kuhn, Hall, Smith, Swain and Havner all get resigned. At least if Hall and Smith will stay for cheap, Smith made it sound like he will and that their is verbal deal in place... I haven't heard anything from Hall one way of the other. (not saying I think they will make the final cut but at least come back and compete for a spot) (also with 5 other TEs they might let Havner go)
Jackson is a possible choice as a 3rd down back, but I think it's unlikely as he think he's good enough to start and wants more chances which the Packers might not give him. Grant was ahead of him, Stark got ahead of him and they drafted a new guy who blocked and caught pretty well in college spread offense.
I'm also thinking they'll sign an OL guy, because if Lang starts at LG then McDonald could be backing up all 3 IOL spots. I think McDonald has a good amount of potential, but I think they would prefer better depth than just taking a chance McDonald would be ready to start after going undrafted and not being active for a single game.
Spitz hasn't been the same since the back injury which they might not trust, so I'm guessing it's not him. Which leaves Colledge as the only Packer and normally they resign their own. So it's probably Colledge.
But there are some other good OG FAs out there as well...
Carl Nicks (NO), Logan Mankins (NE), Daryn Colledge (GB), Davin Joseph (TB), Harvey Dahl (ATL), Justin Blalock (ATL), Chris Chester (BAL), Marshal Yanda (BAL)
I think Nicks is an RFA and Makins has a franchise tag on him. Colledge has been hear and knows everyone and the system.
Of the rest I find Yanda the most interesting, Iowa born, raised and college so he's used to the midwest, isn't 27 years old (yet), played in 16 games 3 out of 4 years, mostly started but didn't always so he should be used to battling for a spot, last year he started at RG and RT. He was very good at RG and moved to RT because of injuries to others and did a solid job there. I read he can also play Center but I don't know how well. And it would certainly spice up the LG battle if Colledge isn't resigned.
Problem is the Ravens really want him back, but sounds like his agent really wants to see if a better organization offers about the sames as the Ravens. (I found it interesting wording by the agent... organization instead of team)
Sounds like the Ravens will let Chester test the FA waters as well as the Falcons letting one of their OGs test the waters (as they have 3 starting OL in FA)
