Good little article from "the shutdown corner" about the few realistic contenders. It's just an opinion, but one that makes a little sense.

5. Green Bay Packers. The Packers hate your passing game and they wish harm upon it. Al Harris and Charles Woodson lead a secondary that's the best in the league at collecting interceptions, opposing quarterback rating, opponent's completion percentage and average yards per passing attempt.

It seems like this is an offense that's rounding into form, too. Five of Ryan Grant's six best games this year have been his last five, Aaron Rodgers is playing at a high level and still gaining experience and keep in mind that just a couple of weeks ago the Packers gave undefeated Tennessee all they could handle, in Tennessee.

Great article. But I loved the quote about Warren (Cheapshot) Sapp on his opinion about McNabbs legacy.

"Well, if that's the case, then I vote that Warren Sapp's legacy is that he was worthless in his last year in Oakland and that he was the guy who tried to end Chad Clifton's career with one of the NFL's all-time cheapest hits. Sound fair, Warren."

Thanks for the article. Makes sense to me. There are a lot of teams with better records than the Packers who have been left off the list: Tampa Bay, Washington, Carolina, NY Jets, New England, Indy, Denver. And that's not counting the 6-5 teams. I wouldn't count the Colts and Patriots out just yet, but other than that, I agree with the article.

I think its ridiculous that they didn't include the panthers...even though they lost on the road today to Atlanta. They have a serious run game and an 8-3 record... that says something at least.

The problem with the Panthers is that they are not very good on the road with all three losses in away games. They won a clunker at Oakland (17-6) with Delhomme throwing 4 int's which would have meant a loss 95% of the time. The only halfway decent game away for them was in the opener against SD and they've proven not to be that good. I think to be in the upper level teams have to perform well on the road and they haven't done that.

Let's hope they continue that trend next week.

What a team.

I was just mentioning the fact that the Jets were not in that article and the Pack was. Boy they are proving me wrong tonight. :pottytrain2:
