May be getting close to time to cut the ties with BU. Too much off-field baggage.

Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning on a disorderly conduct charge in connection to an alleged domestic abuse incident that occurred June 17.

It was unclear Tuesday afternoon what prompted the charge.

The Packers are aware of the arrest and are not commenting on it, team spokesman Aaron Popkey said today.

It’s not Underwood’s first brush with the law.

Earlier this year, Underwood, 25 pleaded no contest to one count of prostitution-nonmarital sexual intercourse in connection with a June 10, 2010, incident at the Wilderness Golf Cabins in Lake Delton. Two women alleged they had been sexually assaulted by a Packers player. Underwood was fined $379 by a Sauk County judge.

CB Underwood Allegedly Assaults Wife

Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood has been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct after allegedly assaulting his wife, WITI-TV in Milwaukee reports.

According to the complaint, Underwood is alleged to have ripped a necklace off his wife’s neck before dragging her out to their car and throwing her on the ground. Underwood’s wife had filed for divorce in May.

The incident in question took place on June 16, the night the Packers received their Super Bowl rings, and Underwood is due to appear in court on Wednesday.

In March, the now 25-year-old cornerback plead no contest to soliciting prostitution, a misdemeanor, and was fined $379 following an incident last summer in Lake Delton, Wisconsin where two women had accused Underwood of sexual assault.

Underwood denied the accusations, claiming the sex was consensual. Underwood later admitted that he picked the two women up at a strip club and offered them $250 each “to take pictures” with him at a condo he and six of his Packers teammates were staying during a charity golf weekend.

A 2009 sixth-round pick out of the University of Cincinnati, Underwood appeared in 12 games during the Packers’ Super Bowl season, totaling 10 tackles, all on special teams. Underwood had three more special teams tackles in the post-season, but was inactive for his team’s 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV.

Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood is in trouble with the law again, having been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following an alleged altercation with his wife.

Fox 11′s Becky DeVries reports that Underwood was arrested June 16, the night the Packers received their Super Bowl rings. Underwood is accused of ripping a necklace off his wife, dragging her out of a car, and throwing her on the ground.

The necklace was a gift from the Packers to the players wives. Underwood’s wife Brandie filed for divorce last month. According to the police report, she said Brandon was upset she had the necklace and he would decide what she could wear. Sigh.

Underwood pleaded no contest last year in a prostitution case. At the time, some Packers teammates said Underwood had been “a problem” since joining the team. He’s scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

He's gone when a new CBA is reached.

The Packers need to get rid of him. I think he'd fit in perfectly with the Vikings.

Interesting twist, wife says Brandon "never harmed me in any way, shape or form,"

GREEN BAY — Green Bay Packers cornerback Brandon Underwood has been released on a $1,000 signature bond after his arrest in a domestic incident.

WLUK-TV reports Underwood, 25, appeared in court Wednesday to face misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges after police were called to his house, just hours after the team got its Super Bowl rings June 16. The complaint says he ripped a necklace off his wife's neck, dragged her from a car and threw her to the ground outside their home.

The Packers are aware of the charge, but declined further comment.

Brandie Underwood, 25, who accompanied her husband to the Brown County Courthouse, filed for divorce in May but told the Green Bay Press-Gazette that the couple still lives together and is attempting to save their marriage. They have three children.

"I told police I did not want them to arrest him. He's never harmed me in any way, shape or form," Brandie Underwood told assembled reporters.

Brandon Underwood declined comment.

Earlier this year, Underwood pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of soliciting a prostitute in a June 2010 incident at a resort cabin in Lake Delton, Wis., after two women alleged he sexually assaulted them.

Underwood paid a $379 fine. A call placed Wednesday to his lawyer in that case was not immediately returned.

Where he struggles is immediately off the line of scrimmage.. either he isn't strong enough in the upper body or he just struggles at the hand fighting in the cushion.

Martha Careful (17h) : thank you Mucky for sticking up for me
Martha Careful (17h) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Rude!
beast (21h) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
