I took my daughter on our annual Father-Daughter ball game to Comiskey Park. (Yes I know it is US Cellular Field).

This last week she sent me a note telling that A Taste of Chicago was this weekend too. So we left early enough to go sample some of the the goodies. First time I had been there in about 20 years. Here is a list of the things we tried.

Alhambra Palace, Falafel with Hummus
Banana Leaf Restaurant, Two Jerk Wings
BJ's Market & Bakery, Peach Cobbler
Franco's Ristorante, Italian Watermelon Ice
Kasia's Deli, Pierogi Potato
Lao Sze Chuan,Spring Roll (vegetarian)
The Noodle Vietnamese Cuisine, Sesame Beef on a Stick
Parrot Cage Restaurant, Seafood Gumbo
Sabor Latino, Jibarito
Starfruit Café, Mango Frozen Kefir

There is something missing from the list. We go a bottle of water but another food item. I just don't remember what is was. One of the things we did is try and select things we normal don't eat or have never had before. After all anyone can get a cheeseburger or slice of pizza anywhere.

I was impressed at how verse she was on these different cuisines. I guess that year she was majoring is hospitality was good for something.

I will say a number of the choices were my daughter's. Including this one.
