Awesome. Simply Awesome.

This game will probably be my second most replayed game after the 'Hawks vs. Packers playoff game last season.

I'll be honest, I never thought our current O-line starters, even on their best day, would be able to dominate like they did vs the Bears. Magnificent.

It looked like we abandoned the ZBS scheme in this game. Our O-line was more physical than finesse and pushin the bears d-line back. If we do that more I think our running game will be better. This was one of the best games of the season, that and the Indy game.

The tenants of ZBS don't necessarily involve cut blocking every time. The important principle is getting blocking in the second level, so the LBs and DB are covered. The ZBS thrives on having cutback lanes, not cut blocking per se.

Generally cut blocking is used to clear out a cut back lane, but those cut-back lanes can also be created in other ways. For example, LT pushes his man outside, LG pushes his man inside. You have a gap between the two, which the FB would go through and block / cut-block a player on the 2nd level. In such a scenario, the RB starts out right, but then can cutback to the left to go through the hole between the LT and LG, and technically has some of the 2nd level defenders blocked or down on the field via cut block, creating some space to do something.

The Packers put on a ZB clinic, a beat writer said it best when wondering if it was the Packers o-line or the Broncos o-line out there.

I really liked making this video. FOX did a great job of giving some good quality replays this time around.

Thanks for the video as usual. It actually has some of Rodgers' throws in slightly slower speed, which I've been trying to find. Thanks again.

Hester bouncing off Cole was hillarious.

I really like this defense, I think Hawk fits very neatly as MLB, and Chillar is not bad at all. Our secondary might very well be one of the best in the league. If we make it, we could explode into the playoffs and go very far. I think this is a team that thrives on those big games, that's one important ingredient in a championship team, another is a high-scoring defense.

Thus far this is one of the better games.A-rod ,Grant coming into play showed why they can be,a very good team,I know the bears can't wait for that game.At home think it will be a little different but the out come will be the pack.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
Zero2Cool (27-Jan) : Packers coach Matt LaFleur hires Luke Getsy as senior assistant, extends Rich Bisaccia's deal

buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.

Martha Careful (25-Jan) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (24-Jan) : Rude!
beast (24-Jan) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
