Our "inexpierienced" QB just did something Brett Favre couldn't do the last 2 years......beat the Beara at Lambeau!

A-rod showed yesterday what he is capable of doing when he has time, the other thing is his shoulder must be somewhat better. He was able to do allot more without winching,o-line gave him time and Grant showed why he will make a difference we do have a good q.b

He was running forward when he threw and threw a bad ball regardless. No QB has never thrown a bad ball.

Get over it. No one is perfect, not even the guy who has the most TD's throws in the history of the game.

rodgers had a solid game, but it still remains to be seen how he can hold up when we really need him to take a game over and produce. Rodgers has yet to do that this year, and he may never, ever do so.

When we are playing for a division title, or a team that is way above .500 and this kid takes over and leads us from behind against a strong defense that is gunning for him, then i will be on his bandwagon. untill then, he is nothing but an average qb at best.

The point of a McCarthy offense (as he said when he first came in here) is to not have the QB be required to win the game. Therefore, if the QB is required to win the game for us, far more is going wrong than what you suspect.

Let's try, TRY to keep in mind that Rodgers is a first year starter here and stop thinking he's a forking three time MVP and holding him to those standards. He'll never win and MVP, but he might be our QB in a super bowl win.

i love it!!!

1st we hear how lot of all the losses are because of him..

Now when they win it is not because of him..

Same thing that was said for AGES with BF, but just in the reverse order..

And that was always my biggest beef with people..and still is..

anyways they are in the hunt of the playoffs..Win out and they are in, but we all know it wont go that way...

10-6 is probably the best they can do..

but 9-7 might take the spot for this division

I'm guessing you are basing your "we need a qb to take over" mentality on Brett Favre's absence. even though he only won one Super Bowl and hardly took over that game. so apparently "taking over" games is over rated.

I hope Aaron never has to take over a game.

Mainly because of the Favre situation. Do we need anymore reason? and yes, I am another "I hate Ted Thompson" just like you're another "I love Ted Thompson regardless of anything that he does". We're each entitled to our opinions.

My question for you, is when will you ever start questioning Ted Thompson? will you ever? If the Packers finish 6-10 this year, will you question? If the Packers do no better next year, will you question?

"IronMan" wrote:

Green, white and NO gold? Well there's 1 team with those colours and it ain't the Packers.

You're saying that I can't be a fan of both teams? If I'm not with you then I'm with the "Terrorists"? Is that how that goes? I've been a Packer fan since I was 2 and will always be a Packer fan. I'm still a Packer fan, despite my disdain for Ted Thompson. I think Aaron is a good QB and will do good things for Green Bay. I get excited with every TD throw he makes (the kid has got skills). I just don't think that you mess with the recipe, when it got you 13-3. Not only for the win/losses ratio, but other reasons. I think Aaron has got skills, but needs a year or two before he comes of age. Where on the other hand, Favre would have been better for the Packers in 2008... and I believe that the Packers would have a record of at least 7-3 right now had Ted Thompson put aside his ginormous ego. Just my take. I'll be a Packer fan forever. If that means that I have to love the GM like some Jim Jones follower, then I don't want any part of the Packers.
