In the huddle on Fox before the kickoff.. to the entire offense, he said..

"The talking is all been said and is over.. time to show them they don't belong on the same field with us."

Too early too even have that conversation. This was Hawk's first game at the Mike, so let's not get carried away...

Although I will say I saw Hawk being aggressive, not waiting back for the RB to come to him. Most times he was attacking, trying to meet the RB as early as he could. That was what Barnett had been doing last year, but hadn't done a whole lot this year. Love that tenacity.

I just made it back home from the game. The place was rocking. It was wonderful when the loud mouth Bears fans tried to slink quietly away.

One of the highlights of the day for me was the halftime show. It was a tribute to Vetrans.
A Wisconsin unit was honored. They just returned from Iraq yesterday. A group of new group of men and women were sworn in.
They then helped hold an American flag shaped like the United States while a bald eagle flew into the stadium and down to the field.
And a sergent sang a song. (I could not hear which one but it had a patriotic theme.)
My daughter cried on my shoulder.
