Ok, fellas...the draft is nearly upon us! The idea is simple. Post ONE prediction for who the Packers choose in the first round. If you believe they'll trade down, post that. I just wanna see how prescient some of you might be! Now remember, you only get ONE prediction here, so make it good!

I'm going to say Mark Ingram just because that's something I'd love.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

With the lockout over, a magical decision allowing player trades during the draft, allows us to trade Nick Barnett and our 32nd pick to Seattle for the 25th pick. The Packers use 25 to select Gabe Carimi - OT Wisconsin.

Subsequently, Jerry Angelo flies to Green Bay and stands in the Parking Lot calling out that snake Ted Thompson for fvcking him two years in a row and challenges him to an old fashioned duel with pistols.

My wish: trade up for Costanzo, Carimi, or Solder (if one drops)

What will happen: trade down w/ Titans so they can nab their QB

GB trades up and nabs Cam Newton.
Seriously I am horrible at making predictions.
They take the BPA. Who ever that is is someone who falls because of the run on DL.

My prediction is many will be bored with the Packers picks, probably say it was a wasted 1st or 2nd round selection. Piss and moan a little bit and then in a year or two when said picks prove worthy, they will purchase their jersey's and forget their bitterness of the picks when they were made.

Who's many? I even understood the Bustin Harrell pick. I was more pissed about Jamaal Reynolds then anyone else. That whole thing Fubared starting with the trade up days before the draft. We gave away Hasselback.

I think having the last pick of the day teams wanting a certain player will trade with Ted and not wait until Friday. If not I think the player that drops is OT Sherrod and they will grab him.

I don't remember every having a feeling at all about Jamal Reynolds. I was then and still am fine with the Justin Harrell pick. The only downside to that pick was the Bronco's were going to take him if the Packers didn't. That says to me, the pick was destined for failure. šŸ™‚

I am saying we will package our 1st and a later round pick and trade to the Titans so they can nab a qb and we will get their #1 next year. I may be wrong on the team but that would be awesome to trade our #1 for the likes of the Panthers, Bengals, Redskins or Cards #1 next year, because they will suck and it will be a high draft pick :)

But we will trade our #1 and I won't even be mad lmao
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I am getting the same feeling about a possible trade which will be a bit of a pain considering I have to work Friday and wouldn't want to stay up for nothing.

I do like the idea of Sherrod. From what I have been reading about him he is an extremely intelligent guy and I love that in football players, especially when they are protecting our franchise QB.
