Who is our defensive leader? I was under the impression it was Nick Barnett, but Bozz said it's Collins and Zero said it's Woody.

my memory is fuzzy. now that i think about it, i think the article (i don't even remmber the article) said that Collins was the leader in the secondary. sorry for misrepresenting what i heard. i don't even remember if it was from a credible source, so take it for what it's worth; not much.

I think it's Barnett more than any other single player, but it's spread out. Other leaders are Kampman, KGB, Pickett, Harris, and Woodson.

Tough to pick. I think it's better to look at the leaders at each position.

D-Line: Kampman

LB: Barnett

DB: C-Murder (Woodson)

Yeah i definitely agree with this, the great thing is they have awesome veteran leadership in all the key areas on defense. I dont think there is really any one person, but as a group the defense is filled with great leadership.

edit, Nick Barnett is wearing the helmet because is durable and never leaves the field, when the defense is on the field.
