Two Milwaukee women who accused Green Bay Packers' cornerback Brandon Underwood of sexual assault have been charged with prostitution in connection with the case.

The two are Kesha Cureton and Tynecha Lipsco. Both were charged earlier this month in Sauk County in connection with an incident in June 2010 at the Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort in the Wisconsin Dells area.

Also this month, Underwood entered a no-contest plea to one count of prostitution non-marital sexual intercourse. He had denied he assaulted the women. Underwood was fined $379.

On Monday, Lake Delton police released records in the case after months of investigation that included work by the State Crime Lab, local police and the Sauk County Sheriff's Department.

According to the police report, the two women said they went to an area club to audition as dancers but came back to a cabin at the resort where members of the Packers had earlier participated in a charity golf outing.

Six Packers in addition to Underwood became involved in the incident, according to the report. They are quarterback Matt Flynn; offensive lineman Josh Sitton; fullback Korey Hall; linebackers Brad Jones and Clay Matthews; and former Packer Khalil Jones.

With the exception of Underwood, all the Packers were cleared in the case.

The players were at a condo in Lake Delton where a party was taking place and where the two women said the assaults occurred.

On the morning of the incident, records show that six Milwaukee police officers who were also staying at the resort met up with the Packers. One of the officers, identified as Michael Vagnini, said the two women did not appear to be frightened or upset in any way.

Some of the other officers also corroborated Vagnini's statement.

The police report also indicates that police thought the women may have accused Underwood of a sexual assault for a chance at "notoriety or future financial gain."

I could be wrong, but wasn't Underwood shooting for "three to tango"?

Such a shame because he is married to a very attractive woman. I don't know how she could stay with him after this.

They lied to the police about being fucking raped and implicated several people and all they get is a prostitution charge? Looks like they got off easy to me.

ya quite 'funny' huh ... imagine if those 6 cops didnt also stay at the hotal to help corroborate the story.

And ya I agree the women claimed rape and looked to get money and fame from this (well it is suggested and makes sense).

IMO any false crime should be punishable by the same grounds as the crime itself.

I think if a woman falsely claims rape, she should suffer equal punishment of the person who does commit a rape.

Then again, more and more women would fear coming forward because of how hard it is to prove a rape beyond a reasonable doubt.
