Suspect in Alex Trebek case claims goal was prostitution, not thievery

I love their defense. "Your Honor, she's not a thief, she's a whore". =d>

I can see this in a Monty Python skit, "Oh well then, she's certainly above reproach, isn't she? Carry on doing your street walking duties you strumpet, you slut you fallen flower."

Lucinda Moyers said she was looking to score the night “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek’s San Francisco hotel room was burglarized — but not in the way prosecutors might think.

The woman accused of sneaking into Trebek’s Marriott Marquis room as he slept alongside his wife July 26 told her attorney she is a prostitute who was in the hotel then to meet a john. She said she never entered Trebek’s room and ran from him because she didn’t want hotel security to know her true purpose for being there.

Moyers is accused of stealing $650 in cash, a wallet and a bracelet from Trebek, who was in town filming the National Geographic World Championship at Google headquarters in Mountain View.

Moyers pleaded not guilty to one count each of residential burglary and possession of stolen property. She remains in custody on $625,000 bail.

On the topic.. I have an honest question.. whom would be hiring a 56 year old hooker?

I just can't imagine there being a huge market in the genre. Could be wrong, probably am with the wide variety of fetishes that are probably out there (lord knows).. just not your prototypical thought when envisioning a prostitute.

If you want me to do it another way just let me know. I have no problem changing how I create new topics.

The SF story had her mug shot. Not even remotely pretty. Arff is not being fair to our 4 legged friends.

Moyers’ attorney, Mark Jacobs, speaking through a spokeswoman for the Public Defender’s Office, said Trebek fingered the wrong person.
