PackersHome Member Name: Dulak
Real Name (first only): Sean
Age: 39
Hometown: Kenosha, WI
Current City: London, UK
Occupation: Chiropractor

1) How did you choose your screen name? Was my dog's name; an alaskan malamute (best dogs in the world btw) that was like my brother while I grew up.

2) Could you tell us a little about where you grew up and about your family? Kenosha, WI - My mom raised me as a single parent and only child; father died when I was very young to a 'service connected disorder' from serving in vietnam. I'm proud that my father was a marine and served his country - I think vietnam was one of the hardest wars on the soldiers with the military's lack of understanding of the effects on people after being in a war such as that.

Currently my mom is a school teacher in northern illinois.

I myself live in south london with my girlfriend; a lovely woman from belfast. No kids yet ... although talk is in the air ;)

3) Did you play in any sports or where you involved with any High School clubs and such? Played basketball for a few years when I was younger (4th-8th grade~); I was tall and my mom suggested I do that since it was safer then football. Ended up breaking my leg in junior high at a game and decided that was enough of this sport that I didnt ever really enjoy. I did play football for a year or 2 when I was younger also; I quite enjoyed it.

My sport in highschool was bodybuilding - when I was doing a orientation at madison my bench/squat/deadlift's were better then 3/4th of the seniors going to school there and I was still in highschool ... I should of gotten into football at this stage. But I was more concerend with being able to see my current gf that lived back in kenosha.

4) How did you find the PackersHome? And what keeps you active on the site? I was visiting another site at the time (seems other's here dont post the name so I wont) - but I just didnt find much camaraderie and the forums appeared to have their fareshare of 'idiots' ... somehow either by chance (google search or someone mentioning PH) I came across this site and have been here since.

Well what keeps me active? ... Well What more could I want then to discuss my favorite football team with people all around the world; put it simply - IMO we make this forum - cool topics, Great posters, and interesting and generally respectiful conversations.

5) What type of hobbies do you enjoy? All things computer (games, movies, web serfing, and even betting on my favorite football team 😉, watching movies, going out, working out, spending time with my new girlfriend.

6) What was your first job? paper route (a free paper where I had to deliver 1,000~ papers a week; I used to fold them in my living room and play a game where I would try to cover my dog (as mentioned above).

7) What is your fondest memory of your teenage years? Highschool, which includes - working out, having cool friends, my girlfriend, and all the stuff I went through. I'd be back in highschool again if I could ... or maybe I still am ;)

8) If you could have one moment being part of the Packer organization, what would it be? Well ya I could dream about being a player on the team... but perhaps something simple like being the chiropractor would be cool.

9) What is your worst fear? Not living up to my own potential

10) How many trips/games have you made to Lambeau Field? None - Ive only seen 1 football game and that was a -20F(or colder) bears game that I got free tickets for.

11) What is your favorite food? Anything that is like a burrito (indian food in a nan bread, or el chico's burritos, or me and my gf's veggie/guacammole wraps).

12) If you could live anywhere where would it be? Hard to say - I couldnt choose 1 place Id prefer to be able to travel to mutiple places. (Back home, london, florida, around the world ...)

13) Name your favorite 5 Packers all time and explain the reason for one of them. John Jefferson, James lofton, Charles Woodson, Al Harris, Clay Matthews - I got the autograph of either JJ or J. Lofton when I was a kid and really enjoyed that, my favorite would have to be Al Harris. He just reminded me what we all have inside of us - to succeed, to endure, to conquer, to overcome, to master, and to dominate - I dont feel you have to be the best in the world to be a true man; I feel you just need to be the best man that you can be - and IMO he showed this on the field and off - Al Harris had the heart of a lion.

14) Where are some of the places you have been, and where are some of your favorites. Well never really traveled much (least compared to the peeps here in the UK); but london is cool. Got your melting pot of cultures in one city. And lots of pretty girls if you are into that 😉 - been to florida a few times and always enjoyed it there.

15) When you are not on PackersHome, what are you doing with your free time? Screwing around on the computer; spending time with my girlfriend - one of those whirlwind romances where we ended up moving in quickly and get along great, I really enjoy watching movies or chatting with my friends, into active self-improvement ... ahh and dreaming - your beautiful reality all starts with a dream.

16) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet in your lifetime? Achieve such deep inner peace that I become one with my soul.

17) What other sports teams do you follow and why? errr none really; but I am interested in all the other NFL teams in relation to the packers.

18) What lead to your following of the Packers? Well somewhat liked them when I was younger; but I was more of a people follower - liked certain players and tended to enjoy watching games with them in it; barry sanders, john elway, marcus allen etc ... More recently, when I moved to england I was getting 'pestered' by all the soccer ads, fanatics and chatter. Combine that with me missing home and I decided well I needed to bring some of my roots to these peeps here - so volia' I become not only a packers fan again; but a bit fanatical about them in the process. Got to introduce these hillbilly soccer loving brits what Green and Gold is all about.

19) Can you share one of your favorite memories of the Packers? This past playoff run - dont think it could get any better then that. To go from the biggest underdog in NFL history and to take the trophy home ... To take out the top rated seeded NFC teams in style. To shut down all the pundits; till most of them were picking us to take the big game on superbowl sunday.
And then to top it off - have a nice pay check waiting in my account upon them winning helped out a bit too
ya cant get much better then that.
I mean come on ... 2nd most injured team in the NFL, a large loss to our starters, and then to system-matically take out all the best NFC teams like clockwork. We dominated the best NFC team the falcons with style ... contained michael vick and took down the craptastic bears. All in their own respective houses.
Ya and the steelers ... while big ben and his crew with all their superbowl 'experience' are out drinking the packers are biding their time in preparation to take out the champs. I wont need to try to defend the packers anymore; Ill just point at my superbowl t and say - "ya and how did you team do?" ...

20) What is your favorite PackersHome memory and/or feature? Live streaming and game chat! ... Totally Awesome!

21) PM and post the next person to be interviewed. Packers_Finland

Great read dulak. arf!
I have always respected the Nam vets but I am more and more impressed with them these days. So many have offered their assistance to my son. Any time any place just give them a call. My son said they really go out of their way to offer the assistance to the current service men since they got so little when they came home.

2nd most injured team? Someone was injured more than us?

I gotta give you props for hooking up with a gal from Belfast. Is she a red-head by chance? You know how I feel about Irish women. :thumbright:
Hmm, maybe living in London isn't so bad.

Lofton was my fave player growing up by the way.

Ya she is a red head ... although dyed ... still ya I do agree its nice. Somehow I dated blondes when I was younger but do enjoy this now.

I think the cards were injured more then us this season (as far as games lost).

Now I never lived in new york or anything; but for meeting interesting women; london is a nice place.

I also find it interesting here how the service men/women are treated here in the UK.

My girlfriend is sort of amazed by people having america flags back home and things like that. Or saying things like we support the troops or when on the news we wish our men and women get returned home safely like at christmas(back in the states).

Here in the UK they dont really do much of that ...; although they do make a bigger deal out of the people that die there (about 1/10th as many deaths but they make a much bigger deal - which I think is important) ...
Ive had a few chats with different UK service people here thou; thanking them for their service - and they are a bit amazed; they say noone here thanks them for their service or really welcomes them home.

Even thou I do not agree with the political aspects of the iraq war; Im thankful I am from the US and how we at least welcome our troops home in a better fashion and show our support in various ways.

Part of me wishes I would of followed in my fathers footsteps and went into the military ... but followed in my moms and went to school for 8 years ... and ya often I wish I was in the military 🙂

Good to know a little more about you Sean.

So sorry about what happened to your father. Sadly, I am familiar with what you described as a 'service connected disorder'.
Sounds like your Mom did one heck of good job, real tough for her, I'm sure.

Got to ask...why a chiropractor and how/why did you end up in London?

Hey Vikesrule!

ya was a bit challenging for my mom to raise me - remember eating spagetti o's out of the can after school while she went to school in chicago to look to better herself ...

chiropractor - actually wanted to be a physical therapist but changed my mind at the last minute and went to chiro school instead :)

london well - wanted a change from working in illinois. Met an irish woman in the states and she suggested it would be good to work in ireland and was reading a blog about a guy working in soul (korea) so - things just worked out and I was in london 6 months later.

Ya I was a bit nervous about picking up and changing my life totally from being a midwesterner that didnt travel much to living in the land of harry potter.

Wouldnt change a thing thou - Great experience and hey I got my own irish woman myself now 😉

dfosterf (10h) : I read De'Vondre Campbell's tweet this morning (via the New York Post) Florio says that if he invested his earnings wisely, he will be good

dfosterf (20-Feb) : Hasn"t Bosa missed more games than he has played in the last 3 years?
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : He hasn't been too bad when healthy but I don't feel like I ever heard much about when he is
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Felt like he was more interested in his body, than football. He flashed more than I expected

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : If the exploit is not fixed, we'll see tons of "50 top free agents, 50 perfect NFL team fits: We picked where each should sign in March" lo
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Issue should be solved, database cleaned and held strong working / meeting. Boom!
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yeah, I see what that did. Kind of funny.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : now it's a link to Wes Hodkiezwicz mailbag

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : They got 118 slapped in there.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : that's why it confused the hell out of me
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yeah, but this is taking a headline and slapping it into the Packers Talk
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Wasnt there a time guests could post in the help forum?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : lol good question, kind of impressed!

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Tell them its an emergency
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Working. Meetings.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Lots of fun; the spam goes back 4 or 5 pages by this point

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I thought Guests couldnt post?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : And gosh that's gonna be fun to clean up! hahaa

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : check the main forum, seems a spam bot is running amok
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : What?
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Is the Packers online game "Packers Predict" now available for 2024? I can't tell
