Forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Barnett being placed on injured reserve mean we have a roster spot available?

If so, who takes it?

I'd say sign another punter to compete for a while, asuming we have enough LBs that is. Steve Weatherford is a player I was thinking about.

If the do want an (I)LB, maybe Victor Hobson? He's an ok player imo.

Why not move Hawk. He always wanted to play that position... A position he played in college. Chillar as Strongside LB and keep poppinga in as the weakside LB

Someone from the practice squad, probably. If our receivers keep getting banged up, Jake Allen may be a possibility. Or one of the DT's maybe? Who knows. Spencer Havner is the only LB on the PS.

this is what i wanna see happen

move hawk to inside which i'd think he'd do well
play chillar on the weakside and pop on the strong which i think fits them well
and then hopefully hawk shines at middle so they keep him there and when barnett comes back he has no choice but to become the weakside backer which i think he's more equipped to be

Hehe, had that in me head aswell, with him being my favorite player and all.

Fact is though, as much as I love him as the player he used to be, and the person he still is, he wouldn't do the franchise much good.

I asume you where being sarcastic anyway.

I want to give a little shoutout to KGB. Was it the first game they called him for off-sides... apparently coming "unabated to the quarterback!!??"
HE WASN'T OFF-SIDES-- He was so friggin' fast off the trigger, he just LOOKED LIKE HE WAS.... Anyone else remember? That is the KGB I plan to remember.

I agree 100%....

Derrick Frost just hasn't been what I expected from him. I don't know who would be a good replacement, but at least sign someone and let them compete with Frost. If the punter they sign isn't booting it better than him, then release him and sign someone else at a different position.

I don't know why they wouldn't want to give Desmond Bishop a chance...I always liked him since that hit he put on Reggie Williams in the Pre Season last year. He knocked his mouthpiece, shoe, and helmet off.

And if Abdul Hodge isn't on another team, why not bring him back in?

Hodge, I believe, is on the Bengals. He isn't starting though.

I also think we should get another punter to compete with Frost. I don't understand what is wrong with him. He has the same inconsistencies Ryan did, but with a much worse leg.
