Can someone explain why the networks are going to give the NFL hundreds of millions of $ this year if there is a lockout?

I keep hearing that the NFL will get the tv money even if there is a lock out. That makes absolutely no sense to me.

What's kind of scary to me is the Owners have no real incentive to come to an agreement because they still get their money and if there's no football, that means they don't have the salaries to pay, which means they bank that cash.
