funny video. Eau Claire and maybe Wausau come to mind as two others that could have given them trouble. What's disturbing, though, is there was a cheesehead and a guy with a G painted on his cheek and he couldn't get them right!

yeah. I am from IL and I laugh when I heard people try to pronounce the names of the towns.

LOL! Reminds me of the TV commercial from several years ago where the guy tries to pronounce Oconomowoc.
He says "Oca-nocka-mawoc" and the young guy says "That's Oconomowoc, sir"

Funniest one I ever heard was from a TV newscaster here several years ago and it was a Montana town he screwed up. Just north of Missoula is the Flathead Reservation and this crossroads junction has a large wildlife refuge on it.

This guy, putting 2 + 2 together ( Indian Reservation...must be Indian pronunciation) calls this place, several times btw, NinnyPippi Reservoir. It's spelled Ninepipe...pronounced NINE PIPE. DUH!!!

And you know they're a Cheesehead if they can pronounce Oconomowoc, Butte des Morts, Okachee, and several others without missing a beat.

Anyone for a Weenie Roast?

My Dad always called it "Lake Buddy Dee Morts" when we drove over the bridge on our way "up nort".
And anytime he saw a sign that said "Lots For Sale", he would say "Lots of WHAT???"
(Now you know where i got my sense of humor from)
