Have no problem barnett leaving we signed Bishop to an extension for a reason. And Justin Harrell was just showing promise

I agree with everything except on Brad Jones I think he stays. He never lost his job. He just got hurt.

Harrell had a real injury NOT related to his back. He gets a shot. Brad Jones should be back. Havner too. We can always cut him again after training camp.
I still say trade Barnett. Use him as ammo to move up in the draft.

Agreed we need to trade Barnett at the trade.

I don't think Brad Jones will be gone tho.

I am hoping that the Packers use Nick Barnett for a trade in the draft. I would be surprised if Barnett suits up in green and yellow next year.

Brad Jones will be back, he was coming into his own. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't back because of the play by Zombo and Walden.

Packers will finally say good bye to Justin Harrell. Regardless of injury, he has been nothing but injured. Packers just don't have a reason to keep him with Jenkins, Pickett, Raji, Neal, Jolly and possibly Greene(?) on the defensive line.

There is no point in keeping Poppinga or Havner. Packers have a lot more depth at those positions.

Sucks to see a great offensive linemen lose a step and become injury prone. I think Tauscher calls it quits after this year anyways. Either that or a team desperate for a RT will take him for a short contract.

Morgan Burnett, Mike Neal, Jermichael Finley, and Ryan Grant-- can't wait to see these guys back in action. They will do a lot for the team.

I agree harrell spends too much time on IR ... my biggest question is are we keeping jolly; he was pretty impressive the last season he played.

Id like to get rid of one of the TEs at least and korey hall (ya hes a good STer) but I think 2 FBs are enough.

Should be an interesting offseason - oh ya I wouldnt mind them getting rid of barnett also; wierd I used to be a fan of his but his twitter antics blah ...
Barnett was still decent just dont know; he costs us alot of $.

Burnett, Morgan --- S --- stay
He'll start.

Chillar, Brandon --- LB --- stay
Not a priority.

Finley, Jermichael --- TE --- stay
Could be the best TE in the league.

Grant, Ryan --- RB --- stay
Expect rough competition next year.

Martin, Derrick --- S --- gone
Doesn't play consistent enough defense, and we have Jarrett Bush on ST.

Neal, Mike --- DE --- stay
He'll be important.

Newhouse, Marshall --- G/T --- stay
He may replace Colledge.

Barnett, Nick --- LB --- stay
Yes, it's expensive, but we can afford him.

Bell, Josh --- CB --- gone
Same as Martin.

Harrell, Justin --- DE --- gone
Too much depth to consider him.

Havner, Spencer --- TE --- gone
He has a shot if Crabtree sucks.

Jones, Brad --- LB --- gone
He may be replaced by a draft pick.

Levine, Anthony --- S --- gone
Who's this guy?

Poppinga, Brady --- LB --- gone
He never panned out.

Smith, Anthony --- S --- stay
The only guy on our roster who can backup Nick Collins.

Tauscher, Mark --- T --- gone
He retires.

dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.

Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
