Yeah, Ive been sitting on this one for a couple days, but the time is now!
The Lingerie Football League is expanding to Green Bay.
Thats right people, youll be getting your own brand of scantily-clad broads running around trying to play football!
The yet-to-be-named franchise will play their home games at the Resch Center and will be coached by none other than The Gravedigger, Gilbert Brown.
Its simple, when you think of football, you think of Green Bay. There is no better base of passionate football fans anywhere in the country like there is in Green Bay. We are thrilled to name Packers legend, Gilbert Brown, as our head coach and to call the incredible Resch Center our home. LFL Football is fast-becoming a LIVE sports phenomenon and we cannot wait to bring our exciting brand of football to the birthplace of football, said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Founder & Chairman, Lingerie Football League, LLC.
I have to wonder how Gilbert Brown landed this gig, but Ill ponder that the next time I head to the throne.
Anyway, the Green Bay franchise will join the Cleveland Crush, Las Vegas Sin and one undetermined locale as LFL expansion franchises in the fall of 2011.
At least two games will be played in Green Bay.
The LFL, which formed in 2009, has teams in Seattle, San Diego, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Baltimore.
