That's just another way to show that Bears fans have no class at all.

Fact is, the GM is a sore loser and ABUSED his power as the GM.

A General Manager has broad, overall responsibility for a business or organization. Whereas a manager may be responsible for one functional area, the General Manager is responsible for all areas.

General Managers manage through subordinate manager. However, a General Manager may have individuals reporting to him/her who are not managers.

A General Manager has the power to hire, fire, or promote employees.

A General Manager is responsible for higher level planning than a manager. A General Manager is often responsible for the overall strategic planning and direction of the company or organization and leaves the day-to-day management of the various functions to the managers.

Please point out where this GM has "Abused" his power. You may not agree with his position, (beyond the blatant insubordination I don't think the salesman did anything fireable) but just because you don't agree with him doesn't make him abusive. You mean to tell me that you have a better idea about whether the employee that was fired was a good employee for the company to have or not than the General Manager?

Gee...why is it every time I admit to being single people reduce it to me needing to get laid?

Okay, I admit to rather too-regular celibacy over a period of years...okay, decades...but still. Its not as if I couldn't afford my own prostitute if I were so inclined. Heck, Foster even told me where to go once or twice.

The employee is an idiot.

He could have worn his Packers thong to honor his mom instead of the tie.

Agreed, Porforis. The employer has the right to determine the uniform of the job. The man was given a choice, and he decided his tie was worth more than his job. No sympathy for the narcissic douchebag.

Same as I should have the choice that the face of my company should not be full of piercings and tattoos. Get past your Packer pride, everyone. It is his business to run as best possible...and he gave the guy a choice...and he made it.

IMO this has to do with the right to be whom you are - if we wanted to live in fear and have a police state then we should be what in china or some other dictatorship type of country.

But we arnt ... and as long as the guy wasnt being rude about things then the gm is abusing his power.

People shouldnt have to fear to be themself and express themself - the guy deserves a hats off if anything ... and ya endorsing the bears doesnt mean you cant say the packers didnt do a good job.

Problem is this.

The dealership has a sponsorship with a Bears connected radio station.

They openly support the Bears, obviously in the hope of trying to lure fans of the team to buy a car.

Having a salesman with a Packer tie might be somewhat of a repellant, right after a loss like that.

I don't know if he was completely in his right when he fired the salesman. I think he wouldn't have been in The Netherlands and the man would've had his job back.

The owner's reaching a bit, but if he has the law behind him, it's somewhat understandable. I wouldn't have done it, but it's understandable.

Besides, Wisconsin car sale companies should be jumping on this opportunity to get some good PR.

beast (8-Jan) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : how was that not a safety? Goff throws it at an offensive lineman
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero, I thought that was a given! ;)
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero I looked through earlier and noticed the same thing. Bonkers year. I just wonder if beast put any money on games
