Don't feed the monster, porky. The thread is about the defensive line, not the offensive line.

Offensive Line stinks period. There isn't any denying it anymore. The line is awful and Roddy is right on this one. The offensive line falls on the shoulders of Ted Thompson and his inability to fine good offensive line whether it be via draft or free agency.

No pass rush. Seems like unless it's Aaron Kampman, every other sack is a coverage sack.

It was a pitiful performance and one I think that the Packers aren't going to come back from.

I agree it was a poor performance and the Oline stunk but couldn't it be that the play calling was also inept? The excution poor? Those are faults of the coaches. The same ones we had last year.

It isn't TT's fault. The players and the coaches failed this time.

Roddy is right except for the getting rid of Thompson bullshit he spews (we all know the reason he wants him fired). If in the off season he does nothing to address the horrible O-line then his head should roll. Next year he needs to spend in free agency cuz that line needs to change!

We were lucky to be in it at the end, should have been a blowout if not for our secondary.

How do you miss that kick?

The O line coust us the game 100%.
They couldn't run block, and EVERY time Rodgers went back to TRY to pass, he was getting hit. The o-line SUCKED.

Well I do think Ted Thompson has done a solid job as GM in most areas like secondary, receiver, quarterback for example.

The one area he has failed in and failed miserably is the offensive line. I don't disagree with getting rid of guys like Wahle and Rivera when they were aging and on decline, but you need to be able to fine suitable replacements. He hasn't done that.

The coaches should have worked around it. The Viking fan who talked smack here all week was completely right when he said he hoped the Packers coaches would play the Vikings like they did the Titans. They did and the offensive line couldn't handle it.

I look at this team and I see bad offensive line, bad running game, and a bad four man pass rush and a defensive coordinator that refuses to blitz.

For the first time all year I see the team at a stalemate.

I come on here kinda pissed off after the loss to attempt and read some intelligent posts on what others believe went wrong today, and I'm STILL reading this bullshit fire Ted Thompson stuff from the above asshole.

I guess i need to stay clear of this site until i've cooled off.

Yeah, gettins sacks used to be the norm from our d-line, but I'm pretty sure the viqueens have one hell of an offensive line. Not extremely pissed at that. We went from a nastey run D to a nastey pass D. Would be nice to be both.

I blame the offensive line once again for our overall position this season.
I even cursed our special teams giving us no field position, but that was a sweet return today.

Im only going to say this was the same exact line we had last year and the d-line is the same except for williams and i believe jenkins . But the thing i will comment on is you people that say Ted Thompson will have to address this via Free Agency in the off season WAKE UP PEOPLE Ted Thompson don't do free agency.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

As much as Crosby is blamable, I gotta give the guy the benefit of the doubt. The kid has a big leg, but that's what he is--a kid. You can't make 'em all, and I can't remember the last time he kicked a last-second game-winning field goal. I know he kicked 60-yarders in warm-ups, but it's different when the entire game is on your shoulders.

Crosby is going to be a great kicker, but let's face it. This team is inexperienced, and it shows with the penalties.

The thing is Green Bay finally knows where their strengths lie. The draft is for the future, and now that Aaron Rodgers is finally our starter at QB--the future is now.

After we get kicked out of the playoffs this season, I think I can guarantee Thompson will get at least one guy. It depends on who's available.

What does it being the same line as last year have to do with what's happening now? Poss you should let the line know they are the same players from last year and they'll start to not suck....

I don't give a shit what he does, but the offensive line needs to be addressed. Could you imagine Rodgers with all the time in the world like most of these other QB's? Sick
