Packers are playing like Champions. They've been in the Playoffs for a month now.
I think its gonna be a blow out. Rodgers is playing on another level right now, and so is the GB defense.

Packers have so much speed in the defensive backfield, depth at LB, create pressure from the defensive line, they are really clicking right now.

I think Packers jump out to a 14 point lead, and never look back.

Cutler will be sacked, suffer a concussion, and be sidelined.

Rodgers will have a huge game,

GB 31 Chi 10

All I ask is that our team doesn't look like this. ;)

Why shouldn't the Bears and their fans be proud? They won the division, earned a bye, and have now won a playoff game and advanced to the NFC championship game. It wasn't luck. They did it mostly with defense and special teams.

I've been saying it all year, the Bears are a good team and prior to week 17, I said they were better than us. Others argued, even though they had more games won and had beaten us.

I think right now the teams are about even. I'm hoping the best team wins and I feel the Packers edge the Bears.

If the Packers pressure Cutler often and rattle his cage I'm confident the Packers will win. I think our offense is able to find holes in the cover 2 and nullify the pressure with quick dump off screens or quick slant passes. I'm also interested in seeing how James Starks does.

Well-said. That's right where I'm at with this as well. I thought the Bears made a statement just by playing the Packers close in that last game, even though it meant nothing for them. But things are clicking for the Packers offensively right now, and the defense has been rock solid all season. I'm not seeing the blowout that others are, though. We will have to sweat this one out right till the end, but I think the Packers will win it.

Wow, I didn't realize Chicago's offense was ranked 30th in the NFL. With all the talk about Cutler and Martz on Fox they made it seem like they were in the top 10.

"Greg C." wrote:

That surprised me too. I was also surprised to learn that their rushing offense was 22nd in the league, just two spots better than the Packers. I had heard that Matt Forte had a good year, but I guess a lot of that was receiving yardage, and they don't get many rushing yards from their other backs.

Special teams is where the Bears can kill us. Masthay did an excellent job keeping the ball away from Hester last time. Can he do it twice in a row? I think that will be very difficult.

An odd thing about the Packers is that even though they have advanced to the conference championship game, they have nobody on their roster who has any kind of clue how to return a kickoff. For punt returns, Tramon Williams is below average but very competent. Kickoff returns have been an adventure, though. Shields hasn't panned out as we hoped he would.

ya I really didnt like how the packers were kicking too whats his name at atlanta; giving the falcons often a starting spot at the 35 yard line ... while we we being put under the 20 ... with real grass and a cold field the father they are to our endzone the better IMO ...
I want to see touch backs!

IMO we carve up the bears and their crappy team gets a reality check ... 34-10

oh and woodson gets a pick this game 🙂 and ya the Defense gets 5 sacks

If they could not get touchbacks in a domed stadium they will not get TB in Chicago. Look for more pop up kicks around the 10 or 15 yard line.

Because it is warmer and there is no wind in a dome the ball tends to carry further than it will outside on a cold day. I only factored in the cold into my comment not the wind. I do not know if there will be a lot of wind or not. I do not know if GB will be kicking with the wind at their back or not.

dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
    Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?

Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately

dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
