Yes, of course Tramon gets credit, but he didn't have any interceptions in the first game. It was the playoffs, the pressure was on, and Ryan was not up to it. Plus, that interception on the last play of the half was absolutely inexcusable. No way should any QB allow that to happen in that situation.

Oh I agree with you completely about the second INT throw. It's not something you expect from Ryan; that's an uncharacteristic mistake.

I just wanted to send some love Tramon's way. :)

I can understand Ryan's rationale for throwing to the sidelines... but to misread that badly.... is inexcusable.

Up until a few hours ago, I was not aware of the fact that Matt Ryan had not won a playoff game. The Falcons were really untested in the playoffs, and I think many people overlooked that. And Ryan showed it, also.

Check out Matty Ice's opposite number in the playoffs. INSANE

Rodgers 77-105-969 20 TD 2 rushing TDs in the playoffs.

And I think the show he is on is called "Sports Nation". He goes out of his way to make inflammatory comments. He just likes to stir the pot.

I am a huge Matt Ryan fan, but he was awful today. He was late on the first Tramon Williams INT or put too much air on it and he stared down Roddy White on the second INT. The latter was a rookie like mistake.

I think Aaron Rodgers proved that he's a better big game QB than Ryan is now. I still expect Ryan vs. Rodgers to be a rivalry for along time. Wouldn't be shocked to see these two play next postseason and so on, but it is clear that Ryan isn't as close to Rodgers as some of us (myself include) thought.

I thought it was hilarious watching Matt Ryan choke. Dude looked like he was going to cry almost all game. He was clearly overwhelmed and SEVERELY outplayed. I truly got sick of hearing about him and his home record. I'm not sure how great he would be without that running threat.

Either way, glad to see him put in his place.

I was surprised too. Sometimes having the bye and playing at home is more of a pressure situation. But he's smart, and I think he'll learn from this.

It sure is nice to see that our guy is clearly so much better right now.

I can't wait to hear what that bastard Cowherd will say on Monday, after he was saying last week how he likes Ryan more than Rodgers. Idiot.

Bastard fits nicely.

I like Matt Ryan, and I like the Falcons. Nice guy, nice team. But it was pretty sweet watching Matty Ice choke when the pressure was on, throwing two truly dumb interceptions. I can't wait to hear what that bastard Cowherd will say on Monday, after he was saying last week how he likes Ryan more than Rodgers. Idiot.

Here's a fact: Matt Ryan has not won a playoff game. Aaron Rodgers has won two. I think the next line of defense for Cowherd and all of the other idiots is that Rodgers hasn't had a comeback win in a playoff game. But he won't need one if he keeps playing like this, and if the Packer defense keeps playing like this. This is going to be a great week.

Of course cowherd says stuff just to get a rise out of people. We wouldn't be talking about him if he didn't. Also, we wouldn't be tuning into him tomorrow if he didn't.

Check out some of the plays at the end of the first Packers/falcons game. The same short passes to set up the FG that won that game was what they tried at the end of the half in tonight's game. Film study. Tramon was just able to read those same routes. And I think he was baiting ryan into the throw.

Zero2Cool (2h) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (2h) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (2h) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (2h) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (2h) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (2h) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (2h) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (2h) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (2h) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (2h) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (3h) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (3h) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (3h) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (3h) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (3h) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (3h) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (3h) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (3h) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (3h) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (3h) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (3h) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (3h) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (3h) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (3h) : Packers will get in
beast (3h) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (3h) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (3h) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (5h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (6h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (6h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (6h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (7h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (16h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (17h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (20h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
