Lynch has one big game and suddenly the Lynch fans come out again.

Yes, I'm sure his 737 yards at a 3.6 yard average would have made a huge difference vs Brandon Jackson's 703 yards and 3.7 average.

We're in the playoffs. Starks played just as good if not better than Lynch in Lynch's biggest game of the year. Stop second-guessing everything and appreciate the great team we have.

I bet no other RB that we didn't trade for and say this. ;)

Marshawn Lynch touchdown caused an earthquake

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch did more than just score one of the best touchdowns in the history of football Saturday against the Saints.

He also caused an earthquake.

OK, maybe earthquake is an exaggeration, but the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network recorded a small tremor near Qwest Field at exactly 4:43 p.m. Saturday, just as Lynch was reeling off his incredible 67-yard run, presumably meaning the run got the crowd jumping up and down screaming to such an extent that the earth moved.

That has happened before: In 1988, a seismograph detected the crowd reaction to LSUs winning touchdown over Auburn in a game now known as the Earthquake Game.

Maybe we can call Lynchs touchdown the Earthquake Run.

I completely agree that Starks' performance tilts things back in Ted's direction. He didn't do anything as insanely spectacular as Lynch, but he was very, very good. And he was already on the team, so he cost us nothing.

Throw in catches and Jackson is more productive than Lynch.

Lynch is also not productive outside the one big run. For the entire year, including that game against NO. So it isn't even one good game. It really is just one good run in an entire year.

Even if Starks had an average game. That run didn't tilt anything away from TT. Lynch is still a waste of meat.

Ah yes, this is the Packers Home I know and love: If you don't like a player, subtract his best play. What took everyone so long to get around to this? I was beginning to wonder if I was on the wrong web site.

The truth is that Lynch was gaining tough yards all day long to help his team build a lead. That big run was just the icing on the cake. Give credit where credit is due.

And don't forget that (I believe) Lynch didn't want to play in GB. I'm not one to say that he couldn't have changed his tune like Woodson, but I also don't think Woodson and Lynch are the same type of people.

the only rb I wanted Ted Thompson to get is the guy we are playin against Sat.

the question I would pose is why didn't Ted Thompson go after Micheal Turner?
