Packers are 4-1 this year when Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have the call, that only loss came in overtime against the Redskins in week 5. Maybe those two are our good luck charms.

Besides what's with all the hate for Joe and Troy? I actually like them, they're my favourite announcers. 🙂

Yeah, there's something kind of prissy about Buck. But he and Aikman are a solid team overall. I'm fine with them.

Nothing wrong with either of them that a case of laryngitis next Sunday wouldn't solve.

they are awful! they're always FAR too busy trying to impress each other with their 'intelligence' to comment about what is happening on the field. they sound alot like each other so the whole game it's like one guy talking to himself. it irritates the living hell outta me!! and fox just sucks beyond words. i know at least 3 times we missed the 1st & 2nd downs because they didn't come back from a commercial break in time.

and lol wpr - couldn't say the 'f' word this time - had the kiddos here. 😉

Coming back from commercial break isn't the announcer's fault. There is suppose to be a liaison guy between the network and the field judge who tells the ref when the commercial is ending. I am not even sure if the guy works for the network or the league.

You may not have SAID it but you not doubt looked over at your hubby and thought it. I'll bet he even smiled and winked at you.

It still amuses me how people criticize the commentating team every game. If it's not Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, it's Cris Collinsworth.

What's so hard about just muting the feed?

I laughed at this.

I guess I don't pay enough attention to the announcers. I have no favorite or least favorite, I spend more time watching the game and kicking people from the chat.

mute the feed & the whole 'feel' for the game is gone. duh. i like to hear the crowd, the hits, the ref's (sometimes). why don't they find some decent people who can talk about the game correctly instead of a-holes who want to wax poetic every chance they get?!? it really shouldn't be that difficult.

i was criticizing fox for the commercial break deal. ridiculous & inexcusable! and yes the hubby knew exactly what i was thinkin when their two faces popped on the screen. 😉

I have no real issue with Joe Buck, but Aikman is a moron who still hates us from the Packers Cowpukes rivalry during the 90s (though maybe I hate him for the same reason).

He doesn't do much to disguise his dislike for us - seems to be rooting against us in some respects.
