Will Jones be satisfied with #2? Or will some rich owner see in him a potential #1? He'll need big bucks to keep. Please please pay, Ted.

Jenkins will have to be paid big bucks, too. Please please pay, Ted.

Am I the only one who wants them to keep Howard Green? Please.

(I know I'm probably the only one who wants to give Harrell another TC shot.)

As an aside, wouldn't it be nice if this would be the year Ted picked up someone for OL in FA? Please.

Howard Green is on the older side and with Johnny Jolly coming back, I wonder how that plays into it? I believe Jolly is an end an Green a tackle.

I didn't like that we kept only one true NT last year, then people said "Justin Harrell will slide into Ryan Pickett's spot and Pickett will take over NT" if something happened to Raji. Still didn't like we were banking on Harrell like that in some peoples eyes. We now know why.

Ends - Jenkins, Jolly, Pickett, Neal
Tackles - Raji, Green

I think we'll add one more NT and DE or two DE to that.

Okay, this is under the assumption that the new CBA puts eligibility for UFA back to 4 years

Good bets:

Mark Tauscher - Wore down and wound up on IR. Too expensive to keep for '11.
Korey Hall - Good ST guy, but gets banged up way too easily and rookie contract expires at the end of the season. Team will lock up Kuhn and keep QJ as his backup.
Daryn Colledge - I think his attitude from last off-season is going to allow the Packers to let him walk after this season. They've got some decent depth on the d-line that can fill in at LG starting next season.
Atari Bigby - The Packers are going to want to give Morgan Burnett every opportunity to come back next season and Peprah made some big strides this season. Bigby's health problems continue to be a problem, so they ultimately let him walk.
Justin Harrell - I think the Packers know it's time for the experiment to end. 4 years and nothing of consequence to show for it. Time to cut ties and move on.

50/50:

Brady Poppinga - Packers like his attitude and motor, but he's pretty much hit his ceiling. There are cheaper options out there who have produced at least as much as he has in Brad Jones and Frank Zombo, so there is always a chance he'll get cut.
Nick Barnett - Suffered season-ending injuries in '08 and '10. His backups have made major strides this season. (mainly in Desmond Bishop) He's got two years left on his current contract, so it wouldn't surprise me if they try to trade him for draft picks and try and get a contract extension done with Bishop.
AJ Hawk - Technically under contract for '11, but it's at a salary that makes it seem very hard for the Packers keeping him around at. He could be the odd-man out here at ILB and the Packers decide to cut him before March, but it also wouldn't surprise if they restructure his deal and sign him to an extension.
Desmond Bishop - He's still young and has made some big strides this year now that he has gotten an opportunity to play. Green Bay should definitely try to lock him up if they're going for youth. I honestly only see them keeping three of their group of 4 ILBs (Barnett, Hawk, Chillar, Bishop) going into '11 based mainly on financials.
Cullen Jenkins - I think it would be stupid for Green Bay to let him walk. He's proven very effective in the 3-4 defense as a pass rusher. A core nucleus of Raji, Jenkins, Pickett, Jolly, Green, and CJ Wilson on the defensive line for 2011 would be as good as any 3-4 defensive line in the league. Plenty of beef for run stopping while still having your core guys for pass rushing.
Johnny Jolly - The defensive line has done a decent job this season despite not having Jolly, and there is always a chance GB could cut him do to his off-field problems, but if they're willing to give someone like Koren Robinson a chance, I can easily see them keeping him around for '11 assuming he continues to stay out of trouble.

There's many others, but I don't really feel like typing a book here. 😛

I see us keeping either Jones or Nelson long term to start opposite Jennings. If Finley is healthy, there are better options to spend $ on then a third WR.

I'd hate to see Driver gone.
He's fought injuries this year, thus was slowed down. But he's a clutch guy. When you need it, he's there. Plus he's an emotional leader. Those don't grow on trees.
Jones has had WAY too many drops to be dependable. He dropped an almost sure TD last week. In a close game, that can end up costing you a win.
In the 1st Bears game, look at what his fumble did.
I want Jones here, but he NEEDS to get his S**T together.
He's talented, but needs to CATCH and SECURE the ball.

I sure don't remember anybody saying that. Everybody knew that Harrell could not be relied upon. The Packers did not keep one true nose tackle anyway--they kept two: Raji and Pickett. And with Raji staying healthy and playing so many snaps, we haven't even needed Pickett to play the nose. The injuries have made it a challenge at times to find enough DE's, but two NT's has been more than enough. When you have a guy like Pickett who can play either position and play it well, it does wonders for your depth.

I see alot of talk about Woodson moving to safety which I don't understand. If he moved to safety it would have to be FS, which we have a young pro bowler at? come someone please explain this move to me, am I missing something? Do people think either Collins or CW have the dimensions for SS even though neither have any experience? CW obviously hasn't even dropped his play off yet.

There's nothing to understand. It's just idle talk from fans. Woodson can still play CB and is far more valuable there than he would be at safety. He's not moving anywhere anytime soon.

My main concern with Woodson is his impact when on the field. As in, lying on the field after he's slipped.
