We're in a position where if we didn't play our guys in an entire game, I don't think that has a whole lot to do with what would happen on that next week.

I would imagine this is nearly a play-off type game in Lovie's mind. Do you think he'd want to take his chances and play us in the play-offs? Hell no! He's likely going to be playing this game the same as any other game this year.

I don't expect the Bears to do a Indy and rest players completely.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they approached it something like a preseason game. Vanilla game plan, pull key players early if odds of injury appeared to be greater (i.e., if Cutler has less protection than usual in first several series, if field seems more risky because of weather, etc.). Play the first part of the game as if it were a real game, just to help convince them that they're able to handle things when it matters, then start pulling people.

no way in hell is lovie resting anyone. his main goal when he was hired was to 'beat the packers'. this is gonna be an awesome game!
