Attempting to draw conclusions from such a small sample size of games is kinda silly to me. Just as you word it NSD -- McCarthy's teams "always seem" to dig deep holes. If you drop back and looked at the evidence -- and I'm not suggesting I have -- I think you'd find we're not different from most teams in the ebb and flow of the season.
