that rant was just silly, and the post totally sucked!

I was focusing on special teams, and why have they played so poorly for six continuous seasons, and how the poor play of special teams has been a factor in every loss this season.

the packers have lost nearly every game by 5-6 points. the difference has been special teams in these loses.

did i say poor special teams play is one of the reasons the Packers have lost many games this season, and who is the player who is out on injury that has caused the special team to play sub par all season.

i was given a list of some crappy players that were supposed to be the reason the team has failed to play well on special teams.

I disagreed with the post on special teams players, and said these players made no impact to begin with. so they were not the key to better special teams play, it was an issue with the talent of personnel

First of all, we have lost every game by 4 points or less. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Second of all, you don't have to make the tackle every time to be considered a special teams contributor. It's not always about making the play. It's about being disciplined and staying in your lane, so that others can make the play, and sometimes you can. Right now, we have a bunch of inexperienced players out there that hasn't been on the team very long or hasn't seen the field hardly at all.

Not many teams have one player in specific that goes down and makes a tackle every time they punt or kick it. Really it's about making the most of your opportunities, and making the play when you can.

With that said, it's hard to go out there every week with different people that you've never played with before and have success.

We've had success in the past 6 years. Remember the year we went to the NFC championship? Hell, even last year...we made it to the playoffs.

You're just too hypocritical to realize that MM and Ted Thompson actually know what they're doing.

well to be honest...

i think ol' mm & Ted Thompson will win out, mAke the playoffs, win in the first round and prolly lose to ATL in the second round.

I think it will save mm job. i do not think gb will lose out. they played good against NE, mm seems to pull it all together when his back is against the wall, and keep his job.

if the Packers would just play a full 60 minute game with no turnovers or surrender any huge plays on special teams, i'd have nothing to complain about, and all will be well on PackersHome.com

But you can't blame EVERYTHING on McCarthy. You honestly think he is over on the sideline saying: "Hey guys, it looks like we've got this one wrapped up. You don't have to try anymore. Don't worry about turnovers or anything."

I know, he isn't the best coach. He has his flaws, and I realize this. But I just don't think he needs to be fired. He has a good program going, and firing him would set this organization back.

And you definitely can't blame TT. He just gets the players. And IMO, he has done a good job every since he has been here.

Don't back down to these pansies! It ain't like we all don't get disgusted with MM and Uncle Ted. For Christ sakes we should have bought a couple O-lineman in free agency by now to fix that friggen nightmare. There's plenty wrong with what we do as a team, but overall I think McCarthey has a fine offensive mind, but he gets hung up on stuff like running on 3rd and 2 when he has a light in the pants o-line.

A couple OL from free agency wouldn't fix our poor ass scheme being coached by someone who doesn't know the scheme well.

This. We DO realize that MM has flaws, like I said in my last post. But what coach doesn't? He has his strengths and his weaknesses, like all others.

Same goes for old Ted.
