we win these next 2 games, and we are a LOCK for a wildcard.

-Giants (8-6) coming off an embarassing defensive collapse against Philly, expect a tough game.

-Bears (9-4) plays Minny on MNF, with a win this week the Bears will clinch the NFC North (Minny is starting Joe Webb at QB soo...

maybe we win the playoff-lotto and get to play Seattle?
(fingers crossed)

BOOM*

not dissapointed AT ALL today, we played a great game.

also i'd like to use this thread to eat a huge pile of crow.

I've been knocking Flynn, debated to even watch this game, predicted a 4-INT performance, and thought we'd lose in blowout fashion.

I was wrong (again).

This is a good thread! Gives me hope, I honestly feel like anything we do this year, especially getting to the post season would be incredible. With all the injuries we've had this year and seeing what we've still been able to do, it feels like the team's talent evaluators really know how to build depth!

It cracks me up when one week I sit here and read how this team sucks, we have no depth and then we play the next week and score some points BUT still lose and now people are back to saying we have great depth.

I still don't see this great depth but I could be blind. I didn't see much of last nights game but saw some of the 4th quarter and it looked like we had a running game until MM realized it was working and decided to go back to the pass. The announcers were even saying on 3rd and 3 just run the ball they haven't stopped them yet. But we did get stopped on the goal line with the great play calling. I would have loved to seen Flynn do the fake handoff and take the bootleg out the back side. But hey MM is a genius and he is the head coach and knows best. We came close but oh well noone will remember it other than just another loss.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Some strange stars have aligned, apparently. I'm agreeing with dhazer. In the bar, I was yelling for us to test the perimeter instead of doing exactly what I knew they were going to try to do -- straight up the middle. Of course it failed twice in a row. Didn't McCarthy notice that almost all the longer runs last night involved a cut outside?

I know media had the pats blowing us out of the water, putting up a lot of point's it was a true test for defense, and they came through,I still like our chances and I think the best is yet to come for the pack.

Problem is it may already be too late. We can't lose either of the next two games or we're sunk.

So the D gave up 31 points?

You watch the game?

7 off pick 6..Thats on the offense

Some might say that oddball kick return gave Pat short field and gave them 7 points

So take away 14

The Pats scored 17 on our D

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?
