Time for Obi-Wan to shine. How sweet would it be if he grew his beard out by tomorrow, then walks over to Belichick and says "If you strike me down now, I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine."

Just sayin.

I have no issues (past a FF perspective 😉 ) with Rodgers not being cleared, I care more about his long term health and a football game.

Easy choice.

That said.. take a page out of the Cleveland win over the Pats and punch them in the mouth.. hard, early and often.

Flynn will not prevent us from winning this game.. if anything we will prevent ourselves. We haven't been out a single game all year.. this won't be the first.

It will be decided late as I peer into my crystal ball.. and I see the Packers get a game ball for a complete effort.. the most of the season.

BTW.. I find it somewhat Ironic that Brett's streak ended last week.. and Rodgers ended this week.. with these two be forever intertwined?

I think this is in the best interest of Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

I agree. We have realistically speaking, no chance to go all the way. We may limp into the playoffs but teams like the Eagles or Falcons or Saints will blow us out quicker than we can imagine. If we somehow got the Eagles in round one, we may be able to top them, but Saints and Falcons are too powerful.

We're too injured and even though we've been fighting very well, and winning some games, it won't last.

The longer term is a LOT more important than one game or one season (though I admit to being somewhat disappointed by this one). Let Aaron Rodgers' head heal, no matter how long it takes. Let people heal up. See what Flynn can do, because I really have no idea at all.

Never been one to worry about streaks one way or the other. The team and the health of the team are a ton more important.

Crazy as it sounds Flynn might give us an advantage over the Pats since they have so little NFL film of him. Really the only tape on him is from last week, and it would be hard to get a good read on his tendencies from that game, seeing as how poorly the line played. We've seen QBs who make their first start be very successful since the opposing team has so little film on him. This is especially the case with Flynn. Also he is likely a much different player since we drafted him so his college tape might not be an accurate reflection of his abilities. This is really the only chance we have of beating the Pats IMO.

Agreed. In my heart of hearts, I don't think we have a snowball's chance in hell...but this thought did occur to me. Pats like to focus on controlling one aspect of your game...well they have no clue what to expect from Flynn or the Pack going into this game, what his tendencies are, what the Pack will do with the offense, etc.
