The 22-year-old La Crosse woman remains in the La Crosse County Jail, though information on her violation wasnt available Friday.
Books previous violations including attacking her then-boyfriend, drinking alcohol, having synthetic marijuana and violating curfew earned her 34 days in jail and stricter probation conditions.
The state Department of Corrections could ask a judge to review her case or begin revoking her probation, raising the possibility she would serve a 2-year prison term. A spokeswoman for the agency Friday could not answer how they will proceed.
Book, now of 2835 S. 31st St., was sentenced in October 2009 to six months in the La Crosse County Jail and four months in the womens facility after pleading guilty to second-degree reckless homicide. She also was given four years of probation.
Her daughter died Aug. 17, 2007, when Book failed to provide crucial care immediately after giving birth alone in a bathroom. She put the corpse in a cooler that later was collected with the trash.
