MM needs to stop overthingking himself. In other words, pull his head out. Bitch needs to START getting it done on offense, because he never HAS gotten it done. With all that talent on offense provided by TT, this should be the Freakiest Show On Turf. Just relax Asshole MM. Let it happen. Quit forcing shit and causing your team to fucking suck.
Capers has this defense playing lights out NO MATTER WHAT. All the offense does is underperform like shit suckers. Pull your head out MM. Salvage your career. We know you're smart. You don't have to overcompensate.

Well I would be mad about that call to on the jennings drop, plus my starting QB went out with a concussion nothing went right yesterday.

We need to win out now.

Tat game was the worst on the o-line,so frustrating to watch they need to start making points when they are out there, the first half of the game,it looked like we had old people out there today.

The offense sucked, but I don't think playcalling was the entire problem. We faced a crippling pass rush all day (And where the hell did THAT come from? Did we swap out our o-line for 5 cheerleaders?) Rodgers was terrible until he got knocked out. The run game was pathetic. If I had to pin the loss on any one unit it would have to be the o-line.

Our offense has been lights-out for years. Not sure what's different in 2010, but the playcalling, AFAIK, hasn't changed much.

I think we flat out underestimated the Lions yesterday, and we got punched in the mouth for it.

And I CAN blame MM for that.

And our offense has been lights out until recently (meaning, most of 2010). Not sure what happened there, but the playcalling, AFAIK, hasn't changed much.

And I CAN blame Mike McCarthy for that.

This loss came as a result of one thing and that is the Oline played horrendous. I don't care WHAT plays the OC calls when the line is getting beat every down.

It didn't help that when there was a chance to make a play Jennings, Ouarless, Flynn, screwed it up. In a game like this you put up a couple of scores and get out of town and we couldn't even do that.

I can see how some might say we overlooked these guys but that's not what I saw. Our Oline got their lunch handed to them every play and they KNEW going into the game the Dline for Detroit were no slouches. If there was ONE phase where Detroit could hang with us it was there.

Let's not forget this was not just about Detroit but also VERY important in terms of Division wins and how that plays into the picture. We now basically need the Vikes to beat the Bears to have a chance whereas we probably could have absorbed a loss at NE had we won this game.

You don't overlook games like that so for me I see it as these guys knew what they had to do and knew how important it was. They just got their butts handed to them.

Our offensive line isn't any good.

We can just throw away about 4500 of my previous posts, and you'll still find plenty dating back to when I joined this merry-go-round saying the same GD thing repeatedly.

I will disagree slightly.

Where.. I think they can be effective because we see it for part of a season.. a couple games here and there strung together.

What they aren't is consistent and they can make solid defensive lines look dominant.

I will say it again.. IMO... it comes down to coaching and we have seen the same issues for his tenure.. rotate players as you wish.. they have been inconsistent under his watch.

Yesterday the Lions beat them down.. and threw in extra wide alignments to further drive the point home.. they struggle with technique, communication, and are hamstrung at times because we can't run the ball, which IMO starts with the same group.

Just as many times as you point the finger at the line.. I point it at the teacher misfit in this quasi man/zone scheme.

Any doubts.. look at some the hodge podge lines some teams put together effectively.

Again.. you build a team, IMO, from the inside out.. Lines first then put your glory boys in around it; that said.. in today's NFL.. solid CB's are a freaking must. Damn NFL rules with there slant on big offenses and chucking the damn ball over the place. 😉
