Our offensive line isn't any good.

We can just throw away about 4500 of my previous posts, and you'll still find plenty dating back to when I joined this merry-go-round saying the same GD thing repeatedly.

I will disagree slightly.

Where.. I think they can be effective because we see it for part of a season.. a couple games here and there strung together.

What they aren't is consistent and they can make solid defensive lines look dominant.

I will say it again.. IMO... it comes down to coaching and we have seen the same issues for his tenure.. rotate players as you wish.. they have been inconsistent under his watch.

Yesterday the Lions beat them down.. and threw in extra wide alignments to further drive the point home.. they struggle with technique, communication, and are hamstrung at times because we can't run the ball, which IMO starts with the same group.

Just as many times as you point the finger at the line.. I point it at the teacher misfit in this quasi man/zone scheme.

I start at the "teacher". Actually, I start at the folks in charge of getting the teacher. No, I really start at our form of ownership, the leeway that it creates, the ignorant fanbase that more often than not thinks that some flashy ass-wipe-prima donna skill position player is the hot-lick vs. building a team from the inside out, the collective bargaining agreement, ticket-price escalation abatement efforts, Chad Clifton's knees, the cocksucker that invented zone blocking, the failure to really evaluate the improvement of the fronts defensively in our division, Daryn Colledge's continue presence on the Green Bay Packers, Scott Wells size, Justin Harrell and the need for D-linemen, bad fucking luck, Bulaga having to learn the right side, TJ Lang's broken wrist, that son of a bitch that jumped ship after bringing that Goddamned ZBS here in the first fucking place, too many wins to not have primo draft picks when some of our rivals suck so fucking much so fucking often that they are scarfing all the good ones repeatedly, the trainers, MM for not firing Campens ass a LONG time ago, running to the left when the whole fucking PLANET knows we can't... I can continue---???

We lost this game on two plays, our Pro Bowl receiver whiffed on a catch he makes in his sleep, and the other play was our back up QB stared down his receiver and should have put air under the ball. The rest of this is all of us being whiney bitches, like usual, and that includes me.

Our season's fate was sealed when Grant and Finley went on IR. The rest of the teams would have folded like bitches, so why aren't we allowed to.

Yeah BITCH McCarthy pull your head out ur ASS. Ever since you took over this offense it has been HORRIBLE -- ending consecutive seasons with TOP five offenses you evil TURD I think I'll OVERREACT because the Packers are my RELIGION and I feel untitled to chime in with my MINDLESS blather.

Fuck fandom.

Turns people into utter morons.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

First nerdmann is all on MM's jock for calling long passing plays. Now when he's calling shorter ones, he's still mad. I don't get it.

Our offense has never gotten it done during MM's era? Really? Is that why Rodgers was statistically a top 3 QB last year? Is that why we scored 40+ points in our playoff game?

Let's just lose with dignity once and give it up to a Detroit front four that played lights out football yesterday.

Why... because we lost both of those guys early on. Finley is a tougher replace than an effective runner because of his size/speed ratio.. but Grant went down week freaking one.

And we sat tight and said we will win with the pieces we have.. fine.. then win with those running backs on the roster.

Last week.. some all but dropped to their knees in praise for a 73 yard performance.. seriously.. anointed him the new starter in Green Bay and made a consecutive 1000 yard back expendable.

If you make a statement of faith in Jackson, Kuhn, Nance and the wild card Starks.. then buckle up from week one and figure out how to run the ball.

And it isn't freaking whining when you knew it was coming sooner or later this season.. we would be forced to run and we couldn't with a ton on the line.

If I have to endure one more stat that we can win it all with the pass alone.. I might just freaking puke in the empty cavity in my left calf. lol.

To run.. the guys up front have to start it with the Backs following it up and utilizing whatever hole there is there..

And we failed to date.. personally if this doesn't wake up the masses to the fact that you need to be able to run.. I give up. Most notably the guy with the headset and red flag hanging out his ass... and the Jennings TD catch/non catch TD wasn't worth a look.

The refs are just as confused as the rest of the masses to what is and isn't a catch.. maybe we get lucky on one.. lol.

Of course we have to fix the running game.

Our running game's deficiencies begin on the left side of the O-line 93, and I do somewhat agree with your post; until we replace Colledge and Clifton, we are not going to have running game. And I don't care what system you use ZBS, pulling guards, hat on hat: those two are absolute dog shit at run blocking, but Sitton and Bulaga on the right side can get it done.

I apologize to the grandma lady that gets offended for the language in one of my previous posts.

I had to compress a lot of data into a single sentence, and this required the entire English language repertoire.
