Just cracks me up that people take one sentence and believe the worse, with out waiting for more information, OR researching on their own..

Well, I just read McCarthy's presser for today and he said Woodson sprained his ankle in the screen/deception period. They are waiting to see how bad it is.

I appreciate it when people do research, because I don't always have the time or inclination to do it myself, but there's no need to be condescending about it. And I still don't think "That's not good news at all" is an alarmist statement.

Here's the Link

The Detroit Lions are expected to announce the loss of two defensive starters Wednesday as defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch and cornerback Alphonso Smith are set for season-ending surgeries, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Vanden Bosch, 32, has a bulging disk in his neck, while Smith has a recurrent subluxation of his right shoulder.

Smith dislocated his shoulder on the final drive of Sundays 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears.

The Lions signed cornerback Prince Miller off the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad to fill Smith's roster spot.

Smith led the Lions with five interceptions, while Vanden Bosch was second on the team with four sacks.

Tough break for the Lions this week.

I'd like them strong enough to win against the viklings week 17.

Don't underestimate them folks. They've been in most every game and are not the Lions of two years ago.
