Now that Rodgers finally has more than 1500 passing attempts for his career, he qualifies for the NFL record books in a number of categories.

Best Career Passer Rating: With an incredible career passer rating of 98.02, Rodgers has overtaken Steve Young (96.81) and Philip Rivers (97.34) for best all-time career passer rating. By way of comparison, Brett Favre's career passer rating is 86.03.

Best Touchdown:Interception Rating: Rodgers has overtaken Steve Young (2.17), Philip Rivers (2.38), and Tom Brady (2.41) with an awe-inspiring 2.73 TD:INT ratio. By way of comparison, Brett Favre's career ratio is a pedestrian 1.51.

Both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have had the luxuries of playing behind solid OLs. I wish as a team, we'd make that a priority for Aaron. I know this issue has been addressed elsewhere and I'd rather not this go off topic but it needs to be said.

Aaron has only started 3 years now. I want to see that number closer to 12-14 years when he retires. Most importantly, with at least a pair of SB wins in there. Would love for Aaron to be considered a better QB than Manning when he retires.

1500 passing attempts isn't that much. the fact that Rodgers can attain that level with less than 3 full years of starting really shows that. However, if we increased it past 1500, we'll lose a lot of the older players who played back in the days when teams primarily ran the ball. Some of those QBs played for well over a decade and only got 1500 attempts. Some of them are in the Hall of Fame.

Take Sid Luckmann for instance. HoF QB, yet he didn't even throw 1800 passes. He played 12 years.

Or closer to home, our very own HoF QB Arnie Herber only threw 1175 passes in 11 years.

We are all definitely lucky to have the starting QBs we have had for over two decades. O line should continue to be a priority for the next two years. No question that the big area where Rodger's wants to improve is in post season wins. A win against detroit will put us that much closer to the postseason.

I think maybe Rodgers should retire now.

LOL. He'd be going out with a bang, thats for sure. He'll be smart enough to not be playing when he's 41 and ruining everything.

Funny how this is almost yawn producing. A Packer QB setting records.

Sure beats the Scott Hunter, Jerry Tagge, John Hadl and Jim Del Gaizo days.

I ought to appreciate how long it took from Bart Starr to Lynn Dickey to you-know-who and the Colts suffering from Johnny Unitas to Peyton Manning.

But right now I am spoiled.
