The only thing that didn't work for me is the pants. They just didn't go well. I loved the jersey.

The problem with the pants is that they did not match the helmets. It was too much. Overall though, I loved the uniforms. I like the helmets a lot better knowing that they are symbolizing the leather helmets of old, and are not shit brown just because.

pants were supposed to resemble the canvas that the '29 uniform pants were made of.

Seemed like there were too many things going on. But again, I liked them.

It was function over form back then. If they had made them less "busy", it would have made them less authentic. BU, yeah, I agree. They were a little much. But the jerseys are money.

peter: Those pictures are hilarious! I thought the brown and yellow Broncos uniforms were the only ones that were worse than ours, but those others are all worse too. I can't even tell which team that QB is playing for. I figured out the last one only because I know that Buckhalter plays for the Eagles. The color of those Eagles uniforms actually hurts my eyes. It's like looking at a photographic negative.

Great stuff!

Bwahahahaha--that was a 1920s ('25-'26) Chicago Bears uniform. The Bears wore that throwback uniform in 1994, so Erik Kramer would have been the QB...he wore #12...

I think the worst one was the Steelers.... looked like a medieval uniform.

With their striped stockings, these guys look like medieval court jesters or wandering minstrels.

Every time I see these throwbacks I have to blink, because I think I'm looking at a photographic negative. It's quite disorienting. How many seasons did the Eagles actually play with those uniforms, and how did the fans avoid chronic migraines and seizures in the stands?

Wish we would've used these again.
