Which divisions are strongest?

I like to keep track of which divisions in the NFL are the strongest and which are the weakest. A trend I notice this year is that after several years in which the AFC was significantly better than the NFC (I don't have the exact numbers, but I know this has been typical), the conferences are virtually even this year--the AFC is only at +2. Here is the division by division breakdown:

AFC East +6
AFC North EVEN
AFC South -2
AFC West -2

NFC East +2
NFC North EVEN
NFC South +6
NFC West -10

Typically in the last few years the West divisions have been by far the worst, but this year they've improved a lot, with Chargers being the same old team, Chiefs suddenly bouncing up and Raiders having a talented team.

The NFC West is an absolute abomination. Relocate the Vikes to LA and move them to the NFC West, and give us St. Louis. Or something at least.

I'm also surprised at how weak the AFC South has been this year.
