I like the sentiment they went for.. but the Jersey's get a two thumbs down as you couldn't tell the players effectively.. at least put the numbers on the shoulders or something.. but that damn circle was covered most of the time if the players back wasn't viewable.

Nice.. but closet them for good now. 😉

When I would come back into the room after a timeout for just a moment I would think GB was the team in white not blue.

Those throwbacks were so ugly. the trousers made the players look naked and the colors made the packers look like the Vikings. Please destroy those things.

That was my gripe. NSD mentioned in the chat that those ugly things they wore on their heads looked like Vikings colors. WTF?

They flat-out looked like a college team today -- as someone said in the chat room, a Division II college team. Because the game was only playing on one screen at the bar, I often couldn't tell which team was mine. I kept thinking the team in white was the Packers. It was a disorienting experience.

And as Shawn points out, the numbers were almost impossible to see.

1929 ... I don't think they had too many camera's to worry about how viewers could depict their jersey numbers, so it was less relevant.

The jerseys have feelings too, you know!

And I actually thought they were unique. I get that the 'ole green 'n gold have a lot of history, but I've never really liked the Packers' jerseys, so I appreciated something different. Ugly colors or not, I thought the retro feel was really cool.

The pure brown helmet I thought could have been done better. I don't think it'd have hurt too much to add some decal's to it give it a mild leather style.

They wore 'em today and I thought they were awesome. Looked like Notre Dame jerseys to be honest though, wonder who copied who....hmmm..

Everyone on the 1929 team is dead and in the ground.

It was like watching dead people play football.

However.. I loved it. I thought it was very cool, and very well done by the Packers as far as bringing history back to today.

Zero is right as rain. There were no cameras in 1929. So we all should appreciate that and appreciate the historical relevance.

From a historical perspective, it's neat that we still have an idea of what uniforms were like in our championship 1929 team. From an aesthetic perspective, they're hideous.
