Mechanics are right next to my rankings of despise as doctors.

I refuse to take my vehicles to them unless I absolutely have to.. I can buy the parts and make the repairs. If a mechanic can contort his body to make the repair.. well damn it so can I.

Especially something straightforward as an alternator. Sorry Formo.. you tapped out on this one.

I won't even attempt to work on a car.
Back in the "old days", i would do things like plugs and wires.
Not now though. Most cars are designed so that you can't fix them yourselves.
I'm of no use when it comes to mechanical things. I'm all thumbs.
