Well.... that makes it very evident that Moss is the choice and they are waiting to announce it until after the Rams job is filled or they officially remove Moss from the search..

Either that or a new DC has been hired and he took Whitt aboard, meaning that MM / Moss knows the person pretty well and has either worked with Whitt or trusts MM/Moss's view upon the lad.

Yeah I think the earlier report of a split amongst the coaches on the scheme is looking more and more true. I think the coaches who wanted to go in a new direction are winning out where as the coaches who wanted to stick with the scheme are losing out or literally out of a job. I think Winston Moss is going to be the guy, but I've thought that was a move that should have been made even in the middle of the season so I like it.

Then again you never know though.

Interesting to look back and remember that Whitt was one of the few survivors of the previous defensive coaching staff.

I was scared when he said that no new DC had been promoted....then I saw the dates....I had been at my dad's for the weekend so I didn't hear anything in the sporting news.
