I was more on the anti-TT until 2009. When he did those 2 1st round picks, I was thinking to myself (we're about to have a real D).

Now I'm a Ted Thompson fan. '10 is great proof of it. Aren't we #1 in people on IR, yet we're still 6-3? That's amazing.

09' draft did it for me, this draft could have bumped him into "good" status
but 2 of our top 3 picks are on IR and Bulaga aint that great at RT (5 QB pressures vs DAL) but hes gettin better.

Wait. What? Bulaga isn't good because you point out one game where he was up against a talented Cowboys D-line and LB's? As a ROOKIE playing out of position against seasoned pros? Heh, that's funny. Btw how many sacks has he given up since starting? (I really don't know, but I guarantee you it's not a lot).

And you think it's Ted's fault that two players are on IR? I simply don't understand that so maybe you can elaborate.

Bishop has given up some big plays. He gave up the big pass play to the TE in the Dallas game because he was to slow. Some of the bigger runs the Vikings had in their game against us were over Bishop, who was out of position or blocked.

He ran a 4.81 40 so he has to guess and get a jump. Sometimes he looks brilliant because he is ahead of the play. He is too slow so he can't wait for the play to develop and flow into the appropriate gap. He has to pick a gap and shoot, hoping it is the right one.

That is why he makes great plays one time and gives up a TD on another.

Bishop has not out played Barnett who doesn't have to guess.

Grant was the second best RB in the league for the time he was a starter. Jackson is down about the bottom 3rd.

Jackson has not out played Grant.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

I thought Bulaga struggled in his first two games at RT, against the Redskins and Dolphins, but since then he's been very solid. I can't say anything about his start against the Redskins (although was that his first start?), but against the Dolphins he was 1-1 vs. one of the league's best pass rushers, Cameron Wake. That is tough for fully developed players much less a rookie, again playing out of position, that had started less than a handful of games. I don't blame him for that performance I blame the scheming of the game, i.e. coaches. I'm not just trying to defend Bulaga but trying to show the facts and the odds this guy has been stacked up against.

Don't forget, Bulaga is a rookie. To step in and play as good as he has, is quite an accomplishment.
And players ending up on IR.....how's that TT's fault?

1. I said that the top of our draft is on IR so i'l wait to give Ted until I see the full product.

2. Bul has given up a few

3. I was a Ted hater but he is getting better, and as the draft is all I can grade him for (no FA) he went from crap to "meh" after the 09' draft. Iand i cant really evaluate this draft because of the injurys

is Ted getting better, or are you giving his draft classes adequate time to blossom?

A draft class needs 3 years min to be judged.
