You all have pretty good taste in movies. The majority of the ones listed I like.

Top 5s are hard to do. I got a list of about 20 or 30. It will take a while to cut it down to 5.

LotR trilogy
Phantasm
Memento
Happy Gilmore (sure to catch flack for this one)
The Matrix
The Sandlot (if I were still a kid)

And now I'm having a mindfart. Might have more later.

(By the way, has anyone watched the full versoin of Red Cliff? I just got the DVD, and I"m trying to figure out when I'm going to have time to watch a 5 hour film.)

I just didn't like LotR 3 as much as the other two, and #2 barely better than #1. That's why I only mentioned #2. I was tempted to name all 3 like you did.
