This isn't just a reaction to how he played against the Redskins; it's a reaction to how he's played all season. I always thought Vick was phenomenally talented, but too undisciplined and not consistently accurate enough to be a great NFL QB. Well, now he's disciplined and he's consistently accurate. It's a combination of maturity and being on the right team with the right coach. If he keeps playing like this and the Eagles keep winning he will be MVP of the league. It may not even be close.

14 TDs, with 11 them being passes, and 0 INTs. The dude is unbelieveable.

I was thinking of making a thread, saying it's time to put his name in the hate for MVP, IF he continues his recent pace up.

I think he's a shoe-in for comeback player of the year.

I didn't like him before his prison time, but he was entertaining. Now, he's been saying the right things, mostly doing the right things and he's playing very well. He's actually throwing the ball with accuracy. That's something I said he could NEVER do.

i don't like him. i don't like that he was allowed back in the nfl. somehow his past indiscretions have been completely let go simply because he has some talent. do you know how many previously conviceted felons have talent but because they are felons will NEVER get the chance to use those talents?!? i just find it sickening. jmo of course.

Well, I'm more surprised than anyone. I've always thought of him as an inaccurate QB. For some strange reason though, he's connecting. I'm baffled.

Maybe we should have never let Andy Reid out of Green Bay, there just might be a little more hardware to keep shiny.

I think it's disturbing that if you make a mistake, you should be condemned for the rest of your damn life. I have something on my record from when I was 17. SEVENTEEN! That still to this very day screwing me over in life. When it comes to jobs and even obtaining a place to live via renting.

Talent has nothing to do with it. You've went through a red light, you've backed into a car without notifying the person or opened your door and left a scratch, anything, thousands of things are done everyday by people that go unaccounted for.

What he did was a complete failure of maturity and extremely inhumane. He lost everything. He lost his finances, his house (or homes) and his job. Most importantly, he lost his freedom for 18 or so months.

He fought back. He did what was asked of him, and then some.

The more people bash Vick, the more I admire what he's done since being released from prison. I know what it's like to make a mistake and have to deal with it being thrown in your face whenever possible. It's not fun, especially when you did your time, you served your punishment and you've grown from that mistake.

I hope he continues to do well, unless he signs with the Vikings, then, break a leg! ( šŸ™‚ )

I like to think of it the other way around.

Vick's getting a second chance. A chance to let his past behind him. A chance that more ex-convicts should get, but aren't getting. It's a great example of someone who did something wrong and comes back to be a very productive member of society.

Although it's debatable how much society really benefits from grown men playing a sport for way too much money, but I'll keep that in the middle.

Vick finally has some talent around him. Remember how that Falcons team absolutely collapsed without him? He had no O-line, no WRs, no RB.... Even the TE spot is debatable, as Alge Crumpler has looked awfully mediocre since playing without Vick.

Now, in Philly, he has one of the best supporting casts in the league, combined with an offensive mastermind at HC.

If you find it sickening that felons who have talent are screwed over for life, why are you mad at Vick? Is he because he needs to be screwed over too, just so it can add to the sickening reaction or what?

He did his crime, sat in jail, kept in shape, and now he's playing some extremely good football. I don't think anything else should be noted.

The man is scary. If he keeps this up he'll be mvp and comeback player of the year hands down. I don't want to have to face the eagles in the playoffs.
